Max George supports girlfriend Maisie Smith on Strictly Ballroom tour and calls her ‘unreal’
Max George snapped a video of himself as he supported his “unreal” girlfriend Maisie Smith while she performed in Portsmouth.
The Wanted frontman sat in the audience of the King's Theatre as he waited for his girlfriend Maisie to take the stage in Strictly Ballroom The Musical on Tuesday night.
The former EastEnders actress met Max, 34, while they were both performing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.
Maisie, 21, is currently starring in the musical as Fran alongside Strictly professional Kevin Clifton, who has taken on the role of Scott Hastings.
The tour is scheduled to take Maisie up and down the UK until March 25 2023.
In the short clip posted on his Instagram story, Max can be seen throwing up the peace sign with his fingers.
As the camera pans to show a packed auditorium, fans are treated to a view of the stage, though sadly, Maisie was still waiting in the wings and not performing.
Max wrote: "Night 2 @maisiesmithofficial @strictlyballroomtouruk."
The loved-up musician had shared another snap earlier in the day, this time showing the happy couple cuddling in bed.
Max kissed his girlfriend on the cheek while wearing a black beanie and a white t-shirt alongside Maisie, who was wearing a nude beanie and checked shirt.
Max told his 352,000 followers: "So proud of my girl. She's UNREAL in @strictlyballroomtouruk. Love you baby."
The new couple has enjoyed a summer of the sun as they holidayed in not one or two, but three separate countries.
They kicked off with a stay in Portugal with friends, before moving on to Mallorca and eventually Crete.
Their secret romance was discovered after a British tourist spotted them at a bar in Albufeira, Portugal.
The holidaymaker told The Sun: “They were holding hands and kissing. We then got chatting to them and they said they were dating but we must not tell anyone.”
The relationship was then confirmed when Max got a lion tattoo on his forearm in London.
He told the Fulham-based artist: “She [Maisie] will just have to wait and see. I have shown a few designs and that but nothing, not that big. She likes tattoos, I’ve got a few already so it should be a nice surprise.”
In another adorable snap, Max shared a screenshot of his girlfriend during a FaceTime call and wrote: "How can someone be THAT pretty."
She replied: "Stop it."
