Within hours the photos had over a million likes and thousands of comments.
Followers from all religions slammed the stars for being “distasteful”, “disrespectful” and even accused them of “mocking” Christianity.
Some even began quoting Bible verses in the comments section.
Another shared: “Broken generation, broken idols! how much more attention these two wants?” (sic)
Furious debate ensued as some claimed the stars “would be cancelled” if they had “mocked literally any other religion” while others pointed out it was only “a silly Halloween costume”.

Megan posted photos of the couple’s Halloween costume on Instagram, captioning the image: “On Sundays we take communion.”

Megan was scantily dressed in a black cloak, thigh-high black boots, fishnet stockings and PVC black bikini.
