Mollie King shares unseen pics from gender reveal bash after maternity leave setback

Mollie King shared unseen snaps from her gender reveal party as she revealed her first day of maternity leave has been blighted with illness.

The 35 year old radio presenter is expecting her first child, a girl, with her fiancé Stuart Broad, 35, and the little one is due any day now.

She and Stuart enjoyed a baby shower with their family and friends on October 25, and Mollie has now delighted fans with new pictures from the happy day.

In one sweet snap, Stuart could be seen with his arms wrapped around Mollie as she threw back her head and laughed as they cut a stunning cake together.

In another, the star looked stunning in a powder blue off-the-shoulder dress as she clutched a 'boy or girl' balloon ahead of their gender reveal to the partygoers.

The accompanying caption sees Mollie telling her followers that she was struck down by a virus on the first day of maternity leave, as she also shared that she had discussed baby names with her family.

She wrote: So, maternity leave!!! Well, day one of it and I got taken down by a virus. Of course I did! …My body clearly didn’t get the memo about having a bit of downtime before the baby arrives!!

"So while I’ve been getting my strength back @stuartbroad and I have been looking back at the photos from this special day where we celebrated our pregnancy with our families a few weeks ago.

"This afternoon we then also decided to share with them our top baby names and see their reactions! It was so much fun actually saying them out loud. So now to make the final decision…"

Mollie announced her pregnancy in June as she shared the happy news on Instagram with a picture of Stuart kissing her belly. She wrote: "Stuart and I are so so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby later this year! We’re absolutely over the moon."

Mollie looked incredible in the snap, donning a white crop top and a pair of matching shorts that highlighted her growing bump. While Stuart matched his wife-to-be in a white shirt as he planted a sweet smooch on her blossoming bump.

The pair got engaged in January 2021, on what looked to be New Year's Day as they enjoyed a winter walk in matching baker boy caps.

Mollie posted an adorable snap to Instagram of the couple kissing, as her engagement ring could be seen glittering on her wedding ring finger.

She wrote: “A thousand times yes! I still can’t believe it, the most magical start to the new year!

“I can’t wait to spend all my years with you @stuartbroad.”
