Nick Cannon GUSHES Over His 'Gift From God' Ex-Wife Mariah Carey – Wonder How His Baby Mommas Feel About That!
Nick Cannon won’t EVER get over Mariah Carey!
The Wild ‘n Out host may have a handful of baby mommas in his life these days, but he’ll always hold one above the others. Sorry, ladies!
In a candid new interview with The Shade Room out on Friday, the dad of 12 (!) was asked who the love of his life is — and he had to name drop the Queen of Christmas! The 42-year-old gushed:
“Like the greatest? I mean, I always talk about that. Then it goes viral, and our fans get mad at me. But I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife. And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met.”
Umm, that’s a LOT of praise for an ex-wife. Whoa!
As Perezcious readers know, Nick and Mariah got married in 2008 but things didn’t work out. They split in 2014 before officially calling things off with a divorce in 2016. That said, they’ve remained in each other’s lives as they raise their twins Moroccan and Monroe. Despite moving on with many lovers, the performer just hasn’t been able to get over his first and only wife (so far) — mostly because she taught him so much, he dished:
“I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her. She’s just always happy, always doing for others. No matter what’s happening in life. I’m like, ‘Wow, a person can really operate like that and don’t allow negative energy into their space.’”
And just to prove how high of a pedestal he has her on, The Masked Singer host added:
“When I found out about how remarkable she was… that woman is not human. She’s a gift from God.”
Well, s**t! Nick’s many baby mommas never stood a chance!
The rapper famously welcomed a plethora of other children since calling things off with the songstress. Most recently, he and Alyssa Scott welcomed a baby girl named Halo Marie in December. This after they lost their 5-month-old son Zen in April 2021 to brain cancer. Cannon also shares son Legendary and daughter Onyx with Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole, respectively. With Brittany Bell, he’s dad to sons Rise and Golden, and daughter Powerful. Lastly, there are twins Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. And who knows when this baby-making train will come to a stop…
While Mariah is said to not give a f**k about the other women in her ex’s life, we can’t say the same for the other woman, which means they likely aren’t too pleased to hear Nick continue to praise the vocalist!
