Olivia Wilde suffers wardrobe malfunction and almost falls as heel gets caught in gown
Olivia Wilde suffered a wardrobe malfunction that almost saw her fall as her heel got caught in her gown at the San Sebastian International Film Festival premiere of her new film, Don't Worry Darling.
The House actress, 38, who recently dubbed split rumours from Harry Styles as 'nonsense', stunned at the premiere at the Victoria Eugenia theatre in Spain during the 70th San Sebastian International Film Festival on Friday in an emerald green dress.
The mum-of-two looked stunning in the sleeveless and backless sparkly green gown that had a halter neck top and reached the floor.
She wore her hair down in straight blow dry for the festival and matched the outfit with green high heels.
As Olivia arrived she was greeted by fans and photographers who wanted to catch a glimpse of the actress, but they almost had to catch her as one of her towering heels got caught in the bottom of her dress, almost causing her to fall over.
The star stumbled as the shoe attached itself to the long train of her gown and she needed assistance from a staff member to help her release it from her dress.
Olivia is the director of psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, while she also plays the role of Bunny.
The actress recently tried to silence Don't Worry feud rumours, but fans were not convinced.
She attempted to downplay speculation of tension at a press conference with the cast including her boyfriendHarry Styles, Gemma Chan, Chris Pine, Sydney Chandler and Nick Kroll.
With the film's star Florence Pugh notably absent, Olivia said: "Florence is a force; we are so grateful she is able to make it tonight [to the premiere] despite being in production."
She added: "As for all the endless tabloid gossip and noise out there, the internet feeds itself. I don’t feel I need to contribute to it. It’s sufficiently well-nourished."
Her comments came amid reports of behind-the-scenes tension between Olivia and Florence, who is said to be upset that Olivia began dating Harry while still with Jason Sudeikis – before he publicly served her custody papers for their children after they split in November.
Adding to the feud, Olivia was heard to have suggested "Miss Flo" needed a 'wake-up call' in a video leaked by Shia LaBeouf, who refuted the claim that he had been fired from the movie.
In the footage Olivia could be heard encouraging LaBeouf to stay as part of the film, rather than leave it, and her tone hints at some tension with Florence.
Florence, whoshares some steamy scenes with Harryin the movie, skipped a recent press conference, with her reps saying this is because she is currently filming Dune 2 in Budapest.
