Olly Murs' new wife Amelia has shared an exciting update on social media only a couple of days after their joyous wedding day.

The blonde bombshell, who tied the knot in a special ceremony to the love of her life, 39 year old Olly, at the weekend, has officially changed her name on her Instagram page.

Now listed as Amelia Murs in her bio, the star, 31, whose maiden name was Tank, has also opted to update her username handle too, as she's now searchable as amelia.murs.

The stunning beauty has been updating her fans in the lead-up to her and superstar singer Olly's special day, with snaps from her hen do littering her feed.

But as it came to the big day, the couple went quiet as they enjoyed basking in the moment with their friends and families.

Olly has since returned to social media to share a special update on his Marry Me UK tour dates, after taking an extended break for the wedding.

"1 month to go till back on tour… some really exciting shows coming up.. I literally can’t wait! See you there," the former X Factor star captioned his post, but fans were only begging for snaps from his nuptials.

"Respectfully, shut up and post the wedding pics," one fan joked.

Another follower replied that they "agreed" with the sentiment.

"Came on here excited for wedding pics and it’s just you flogging your tour," a third fan giggled, as another joked that Olly would be needing to "pay off" the lavish wedding.

"ngl disappointed that these aren’t wedding pics but tour is exciting too x" another fan added.

Others congratulated Olly for announcing his first shows as a "married man", with one person saying: "Annnnnddd…. You’re first shows as a married man!

"Congratulations to you and Amelia! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness xxx"

Olly and Amelia celebrated a gorgeous festival-style wedding day at the weekend, and the pair even had a private island in Essex to enjoy it on.

Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the couple left no detail to chance, as they enjoyed fairground rides, vintage cars for photo opportunities and a party band.

The pair threw their very own "Murs Fest" and couldn't have been happier, as a plane even flew over the special nuptials with sky writing to wish the couple all the luck for the future.

Olly and Amelia's private island is owned by music producer Nigel Freida, who has worked with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Roxy music, and boasts an impressive 550 acres of "rustic gardens, orchards, meadows and salt marsh", according to their website.

The now-married couple are reported to have spent £35,000 a night to rent it.

Olly and competitive bodybuilder Amelia met at a gym in 2019, and have been been together ever since, with the singer proposing to the love of his life in June 2022.
