Amanda Owen, 48, ignited speculation of a new romance on Ravenseat Farm earlier this week after she shared a new series of pictures on social media. The Yorkshire Shepherdess had taken to Instagram on Monday to update her fans on her “quality time” with family.
In view of her 526,000 followers, Amanda posted pictures of some of her nine children posing next to a gigantic “mutant” marrow.
Amanda captioned the post: “Quality time with our marra ! Waaahay !
“The excitement of @HarrogateFlower show & thus the annual visit of Herbie & Sidney from Northern Ireland & the gifting of a mutant marrow.” (Sic)
Amanda also added the hashtags: “#yorkshire #harrogate #flowershow #vegetable #competition #giantvegetable”
However, one of the snaps appeared to draw the attention of eagle-eyed fans who noticed Amanda’s 18-year-old, Reuben, had carved a heart out of the marrow.
The photo prompted questions from curious fans who wondered whether he was dating a mystery girl, who was seen posing alongside him in one of the other pictures.
Dianerooke asked: “Fabulous pictures and is Reuben courting? Lovely couple.”
Pollys_crochet commented: “Aww how lovely Reuben, lucky girl.”
Thinkpinkmrst70 enquired: “Has Reuben got a lady friend? X”
Katrinakarolchyk pointed out: “Lovely photos, Reuben looks smitten xx.”
The update comes after Amanda’s children were praised for their continued work helping their mum at the farm.
Fans were left stunned earlier this month as Amanda revealed how her children were quick to step in after one of their sheep got stuck in a fence.
She took to Twitter to show her more than 200,000 followers how the kids had helped one of the sheep who had suffered the incident.
Amanda, who shares her kids with estranged husband Clive Owen, wrote: “Hands on with an ovine patient.
“After being stuck in a fence for a couple of days this lamb has lamed itself, lost some skin and has a serious gy-neck. (sic)
“The children have been nursing the patient for more than a week now & have made good progress. #yorkshire #shepherdess,” she ended her post.
Twitter user Theoldman1949 replied: “You have a wonderful caring family.”
