Paige Thorne sets the record straight on her relationship with Dami Hope
Love Island star Paige Thorne has finally set the record straight regarding the nature of her relationship with Dami Hope as rumours continue to swirl around the pair even after leaving the villa.
The Welsh paramedic who is currently happily dating fellow Islander Adam Collard, has frequently been the subject of much speculation from fans as they thought she was getting a bit too friendly with microbiologist Dami in the villa, despite him being coupled up with Indiyah Polack.
During her time on the show, Paige had been seen chatting away to Dami on numerous occasions, and even bestowed a number of nicknames on the star, including “honeybuns”, which fans thought were a bit too flirtatious for someone in a relationship.
However despite any claims to the contrary, the 24 year old stunner has quickly knocked those rumours on the head as she addressed the claims directly during a recent podcast appearance.
Chatting away to host Toby Aromolaran on the Fancy a Chat? podcast, Paige was asked directly “How would you describe your relationship with Dami?”
Paige then replied: “Right ok, me and Dami, let’s just put this to bed because I am sick of getting dragged for ‘being after Indiyah’s guy’. I am not, like please stop.”
“Girls and guys can be mates without anything in it,” she added.
The news comes just days after Paige and Adam were spotted enjoying a loved up break together in Wale s, as Adam came to visit Paige’s hometown of Swansea for the first time since leaving the Love Island villa.
Walking alongside the picturesque scenery of the Mumbles Beach on the stunning Welsh coast, the pair even stopped to enjoy a cheeky ice cream together before posing for a few loved up snaps, shortly after Adam had promised to visit Wales draped in a Welsh flag to try and ingratiate himself to Paige’s mum.
The couple have only been going from strength to strength since their villa exit was cut short just days before the grand final, which saw winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti scoop the £50,000 grand prize.
They even recently shared that they had taken their relationship to the next level and gone ‘official’ beyond the villa, in a move Adam was happy to discuss in an interview with On Demand Entertainment’s Jodie McCallum last week.
“I always said that I wanted to [make things official] off camera, so that [Paige] knew everything was real,” he explained. “Even though we did, we knew that, I made a point of it as soon as we got home, hometown – yeah, so we are official.”
