In a video shared by a concertgoer, the legendary singer, 78, is seen speaking to the crowd just moments before two security guards stormed the stage and physically removed her.
According to a reported statement made by Milwaukee PD, the audience was ‘safely evacuated’ from the venue and the investigation is ‘fluid and ongoing.’
Officers were said to be ‘clearing the facility at this time.’

The unnerving clips starts off calm with LaBelle speaking to a fan in the audience while carrying a rose bouquet.
She has her back turned away from stage left as two security guards clad in all-black suits grab ahold of her from behind.

Two other security members place their hands behind LaBelle’s back and work together to get her out of sight.
The singer’s band swiftly abandon their stations to follow behind LaBelle and her security team.

This sets the crowd in total uproar, with many screaming loudly towards the stage and others expressing confusion to one another just before the video ends.
A separate video taken outside the theater shows concertgoers standing on the sidewalk and spilling into the street, talking loudly among themselves.
The woman who filmed the clip and posted it to Twitter said that ‘all of the participants are waiting outside’ after being evacuated.
‘We do not know if we go back inside to the venue. It is up to the Riverside Theater if we can go back inside,’ she added in the video, which she tweeted at 9:49pm Milwaukee time. ‘But right now, everything’s on halt.’
