Peter Andre says Junior is ‘ready to sleep for days’ after 18th Ibiza lads holiday

Peter Andre said his son Junior was ‘ready to sleep for days’ following his lads’ holiday to Ibiza to celebrate his 18th birthday.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 50, added he could “relax now” Junior had returned home safe and sound from his trip to the infamous party island. Junior had brought in his 18th birthday in style – partying with pals and enjoying a day out on a yacht.

Now Peter has shared a picture to his Instagram account where he spoke of his relief at Junior returning to their Surrey mansion. He wrote: "He's home and safe, and he's upstairs probably ready to sleep for days. I can relax now. Love you son."

In his weekly column for us, dad of four Peter discussed how Junior’s trip was “bittersweet”. He wrote: "I took him to the airport for his first ever lads’ holiday.

“It’s a bittersweet time because I’m so proud of the man he’s becoming, but it also means he’s legally an adult. And that means that although he’s the man of the house when I’m not there, he can also go to clubs, he can drink… do I need to go on?

“It’s scary but I know I need to let go eventually as it’s a natural part of life. Junior is so respectful and knows the rules we teach him. He should have fun – but I just hope he’s sensible."

While on holiday on the island in the Mediterranean, Junior performed at Ibiza Rocks, having released his first song Slide last year. The singer was also seen chatting to several girls at the hotel.

While in Ibiza, Junior also visited the O Beach nightclub, where he posed for a picture with owner Wayne Lineker. The teenager shared a post on Instagram last week, thanking everyone for making his birthday so special.

He wrote: "Celebrating my 18th birthday the best way possible in Ibiza! I just want to say a massive thank you to you all for the Birthday Wishes and thank you everyone who continues to support me.

"I’m so excited to see what the future holds and I can’t wait for you to hear my new music! …this week?"

On Junior's birthday earlier this month, proud dad Peter shared a moving tribute to his son, posting a video compilation of photos of Junior through the years to Instagram.

He wrote: "Junior, you are everything I could ask for in a son. I love you beyond words, truly, and I am so proud of who you have become.

"Stay kind, humble, caring and focused like you are and you will go more than far. I can’t wait for the world to hear what you’ve been working on. Forever my baby boy. Happy 18th birthday."
