Piers Morgan digs into Meghan Markle again following 'revolting' interview
Piers Morgan has once again slammed Meghan Markle after her most recent interview, describing it as ‘revolting’.
The TalkTV host has hit out at the Duchess of Sussex countless times and, after she gave a new interview, it came as no surprise when he weighed in – and he certainly didn’t mince his words.
‘Even by Markle standards, this is a revoltingly self-aggrandising, disingenuous & hypocritical load of royal-bashing tosh,’ he said of her new interview with The Cut.
‘The Mandela anecdote alone had me gagging. How dare she use her title to keep trashing the institution that gave it to her? Shameless & shameful.’
Piers referred to a moment in the interview when Meghan spoke about attending the 2019 premiere of The Lion King, and a cast member from South Africa pulled her aside.
‘He looked at me, and he’s just like light. He said, “I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison,”‘ she told the outlet.

It’s certainly not the first time Piers has taken aim at Meghan.
Just last week, following the release of her podcast Archetypes, he had more to say.
‘It’s not your ambition we dislike, Princess Pinocchio – it’s the vile way you trash the Royal Family whilst simultaneously exploiting your royal status for millions of dollars as with this podcast,’ he said.
In March 2021, Piers also came under fire after saying he didn’t believe Meghan when she told Oprah Winfrey in an explosive interview that she had considered suicide due to the pressure of being scrutinised as a member of the Royal family.
The broadcaster refused to apologise despite receiving a record-breaking number of Ofcom complaints and subsequently quit his job on Good Morning Britain.
