Pregnant Claire Danes, 43, debuts blossoming baby bump in slinky dress at Golden Globes

Claire Danes showed off her blossoming baby bump at the 80th Golden Globe Awards in a white gown, embellished with an oversized baby pink bow, white tassels and silver straps.

The 43 year old actress paired the look – that showed off her just-visible bump a treat – with dangly silver and pearl earrings, but omitted a necklace or bracelets for a minimalist look.

Meanwhile, her straight, short blonde hair was split into a deep side-parting.

Showing off her baby bump for the first time, Claire was all smiles for the cameras as she posed on the red carpet at the Beverley Hilton Hotel in LA.

Claire was nominated for best supporting actress for her part in drama miniseries Flieshman is in Trouble, which she starred in alongside Adam Brody and Jesse Eisenberg, but lost out to Jennifer Coolidge who won the gong for her role in White Lotus.

It was Claire’s seventh nomination, and so far she’s secured four Golden Globes over a three decade long acting career.

Claire has recently been branching out when it comes to roles, after her long-running series Homeland wrapped in 2020 after nine years on the air.

Before that, Claire was probably best known for her role opposite Hollywood royalty Leonardo DiCaprio in Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet – a role she cinched after breaking out as a teen actress in My So-Called Life.

Claire made a solo trip down the red carpet with her husband, Downtown Abbey star Hugh Dancy, 47, nowhere to be seen.

The longtime couple first met on set during the filming of the 2007 drama film Evening and have been loved-up ever since.

The pair eventually got engaged in February 2009 and tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony in France later the same year.

Hugh and Claire already share two children, ten year old Cyrus Dancy and four year old Rowan Dancy – and only recently revealed that they were expecting baby number three.

Speaking via one of their representatives to People Magazine on January 9 2023, the couple officially confirmed the happy news.
