Pregnant Hollyoaks actress dies in car crash as heartbroken co-star pay tribute
Paul Danan has shared his heartbreak after his pregnant Hollyoaks co-star and friend Frankie Julia Hough died in a car crash.
She reportedly stopped on the hard shoulder of the M66 when she was struck by a speeding vehicle.
The actress, who starred as Jess on Hollyoaks, died whilst travelling with her two sons and nephew.
Frankie and her unborn baby were laid to rest on June 9th after she died aged 38.
Actor Paul Danan shared a photo of Frankie and their time together on the programme in a heartbreaking tribute.
In a lengthy post, he penned: “Managed to get some better pics of me and my beautiful talented Gorgeous friend and co star “Jess”(@hollyoaksofficial ) Frankie Hough who was sadly recently killed carrying her unborn child.
“Her two little boys (ages 2 and 8 and nephew 4) travelling in the back of the car on the M66 are fighting for their lives in hospital but seem to be doing better.”
He went on: “Frankie will never get to see her family again and as for her unborn child who never even got a chance in life let alone her two little Gorgeous boys and nephew won’t see their mum or aunty again.
“My heart and prayers goes out to them and the husband who g-d knows how he’s coping right now and also her adorable sister’s and parents.”
“May we all come together and do what we can to help and support u.
“I am truly devastated and hurting more than u know, to only find this out yesterday 2 weeks after it happened I feel a bit hopeless but know that God will help you all through it somehow and just maybe had a bigger plan for those two.”
He concluded: “Look at what can happen, its actually just too painful to even think about right now.
“Pls donate to help this poor, poor family much love and thanks P.”(sic)
Paul added a link to a Go Fund Me page for people to donate to the family.
Social media users flocked to the comment section to pay tribute to the actress.
One person penned: “I’m so sorry for your loss, and her family – absolutely heartbreaking.”
Another commented: “So sorry to hear this, thinking of you.”
A third penned: “Thinking of you and all of her friends and family.”
Frankie appeared on the soap as Jess Holt from 2000 to 2001.
The actress also starred in Merseybeat, Heartbeat, Where the Heart Is and Wire in the Blood.
