Pregnant Kate Ferdinand forced to go barefoot on date night with Rio

Pregnant Kate Ferdinand was forced to go barefoot on an evening out with Rio as she joked that while she’d managed to glam up for the first time in weeks, she didn’t last in heels.

The mum-of-one dressed to impress in a sparkly dress and blazer, which she paired with some gorgeous baby blue shoes.

To complete the look, Kate, 31, wore her hair scraped back into a ponytail and Kate’s celebrity pals wasted no time in complementing the pregnant star.

“Oh wow,” wrote Kate’s former TOWIE co-star Danielle Armstrong. “Stunning”.

“Stun stun stun,” added Olivia Attwood, while Charlotte Dawson replied with a string of heart-eye emojis.

Georgia Kousoulou echoed similar sentiments, while hundreds of Kate’s fans also took to the picture's comment section to gush over the star.

Sharing the same snap to her Instagram Story, Kate added: “It’s been leggings & baggy jumpers for weeks & weeks, loved dressing up this weekend [diamond emoji]”.

Next to a second photo, Kate admitted that she eventually had to go shoeless. The photo was a selfie taken by former footballer husband Rio – who was pulling a funny face – as Kate innocently held up her shoes for the picture.

Kate announced her pregnancy over the weekend, but admitted that many fans had already figured out she's expecting her second child.

She shared on the most recent episode of her podcast: “A lot of you knew – I’d been getting a load of messages from people saying you’re definitely pregnant, you haven’t been going to the gym as much.

“You were right but I didn’t want to announce it too early after what happened last time with the miscarriage. And now we’re going to have five children! OMG seriously when I say that out loud, it frightens me.”

Kate, who is step-mum to Rio’s three kids Lorenz, Tia and Tate, went on: “We’re so excited, it’s such a blessing!

“In my last pregnancy when I had a miscarriage I moaned all the time, and then when the miscarriage happened I felt terrible for moaning – I felt so ungrateful.

“Not sure Rio would agree but I feel like I’ve moaned a lot less this time and I’m just grateful that everything is going okay so far but I am ravenous. I am so hungry and cannot stop eating. I wasn’t like this when I was pregnant with Cree.”

Kate and Rio’s exciting baby news comes after the pair suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last year.
