Pregnant Molly-Mae Hague feels like ‘terrible girlfriend’ to Tommy after breaking promise

Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague has dubbed herself a “terrible girlfriend” to Tommy Fury after she struggled to get up the stairs while heavily pregnant.

Molly-Mae, who starred in season five of the ITV show with the likes of Amber Gill and India Reynolds, is currently awaiting the birth of her first baby with Tommy.

The 23 year old Pretty Little Thing creative director revealed she was supposed to let Tommy sleep for a short time before waking him, but, with her birth expected any time now, she was unable to fulfil her promise and left him snoozing for two and a half hours!

Taking to Instagram, she explained: "Do excuse the state of me. We just went swimming before. I'm trying to stay active, it's not really going very well, but guys, I feel like such a terrible girlfriend right now.

"Tommy went for a nap two and a half hours ago, and he said to me 'please wake me up after 15 minutes, like 15 minutes tops I only want to be asleep for."

Molly-Mae, who recently rocked a black maxi dress, continued to say she simply “can’t walk up the stairs."

She explained: "The reason its been two-and-a-half hours and I've still not woken him is because I can't walk up the stairs. I can't do it.

"Thinking of the stairs right now is like thinking about Mount Everest in my head. Like, it is an impossible task.

"A switch has flipped in this pregnancy where normal day-to-day jobs… they are just impossible tasks now, and I really didn't expect that to happen. And yeah…. sorry Tommy when you see this. You've literally been asleep nearly three hours now."

Thankfully, Molly-Mae was able to fulfil her promise and wake her boyfriend up, but not before she jokingly posted a photo of her suitcase by the door with the caption: "Was nice knowing you all.”

Tommy didn’t seem fazed and soon joined his girlfriend on the sofa.

After fans put on their Sherlock Holmes caps in the hopes of working out Molly-Mae’s due date, with most predicting the little tot would come in late December or early January, Molly-Mae confirmed the date herself using a viral TikTok sound.

Posting to TikTok, Molly-Mae could be seen cradling her baby bump while clad in a baggy grey sweatshirt and leggings in her lavish dressing room

Molly-Mae, who celebrated her baby shower alongside the likes of Maura Higgins, then lip-synced to Kylie Jenner’s viral pregnancy video where she said: "So, I'm 34 weeks today. I only have a month left."

This comes after celebrity medium Sally Morgan predicted that Tommy and Molly-Mae would have a “low-key wedding” after they’ve settled in with the new baby.

"Molly-Mae and Tommy will get married following the birth of their daughter," Sally exclusively told OK! "But they’ll do it very privately. They’ll have a very low-key wedding."
