Prince Louis to attend £17k a year school after leaving £14.5k London nursery

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are leaving London for Berkshire and according to reports, they are set tomove into a four-bedroom house in Windsorwith their children,Prince George, Princess Charlotte, andPrince Louis.

As the summer holidays reach their final weeks, four year old Prince Louis is gearing up to make the transition into primary school and the move will mark the first time the three royal siblings will attend the same school.

For nursery Prince Louis attended Willcocks Nursery School in London, as did his older sister Princess Charlotte before him.

The nursery doesn't come cheap, and it costs £14,500 a year per student to attend – but Louis' school will be even more expensive.

The Cambridge children will be attending Lambrook School in Berkshire in September, which is close to Windsor Castle.

It has been reported thatKate Middleton andPrince William, both 40, have visited the school several times this year and the Prince even spoke to students in attendance about their Latin classes.

The new primary school increases its fees for children as they move up through their classes, which means that the Cambridge children will rack up a bill of £71,344 this year alone.

As he is just starting primary school, Prince Louis’ education will cost £17,556. Seven year old Princess Charlotte’s will cost £25,792 and the highest fees will be for nine year old Prince George’s classes, which will cost £27,996 per year.

The big move will mean the Cambridges will be living without a nanny in their new four bedroom home.

Their new cottage is located in the Windsor estate, with much more rural surroundings than their London base, allowing freedom to roam the wild for the young royals.

A big change in lifestyle will also be undertaken as the family's live-in nanny will be surplus to requirements. With the house having four bedrooms, each one will be occupied by royal members.

It will be quite the adjustment without Maria Borrallo, the live-in nanny at Kensington Palace. The Spanish nanny is usually on hand 24/7 for the young royals.

Although she will not reside in the cottage, Ms Borrallo, who has served the family since 2014 when Prince George was eight months old, will continue to be a full-time nanny for the Cambridge's, living close by.

It is also believed that the family won't be having any other household staff in their new house.

Other live-in workers such as a housekeeper and a personal chef are amongst employees thought to be relinquished of their duties ahead of the move to Windsor.
