Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky were seen following hands after a date night at the Ned hotel, where they spent a few hours in a private suite, in New York City.

Just three months after welcoming their first child together, a baby boy, the 34-year-old superstar and rapper, 33, were seen looking cozy as they walked back to their car.

For the occasion, the Umbrella hitmaker looked nothing short of sensational in an emerald green satin shirt, worn slightly unbuttoned to display her black bra, and a matching skirt.

The dad-of-one (born Rakim Mayers), who plead not guilty to two counts of assaults with a semiautomatic firearm at a Los Angeles court last week, wore his hair in braids,

In May, Rihanna and A$AP welcomed their first child together, a baby boy whose name they have yet to reveal.

A source informed People at the time that the two stars have been ‘adjusting’ to being a mother and father, but ‘are doing great.’

‘Their baby boy is healthy and Rihanna is just in awe of him,’ the insider explained, adding, ‘Rihanna barely leaves his side. She is a fantastic mom.’

Meanwhile, A$AP – real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – has been embroiled in legal troubles. Last week, the rapper entered a not guilty plea stemming from a 2021 confrontation in Hollywood.

Prosecutors accused him of drawing a gun and firing it twice in the direction of a former friend during an argument in Hollywood in November 2021.

He pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and was ordered to return to court on November 2.

Los Angeles Superior Court Victoria B. Wilson ordered the rapper to stay away from the former friend, fellow rapper Terell Ephron, whose stage name is ASAP Relli and who was a member with Rocky in the ASAP Mob rap group that started in Harlem in 2006.

Legal woes: Last week, the rapper entered a not guilty plea stemming from a 2021 confrontation in Hollywood; seen earlier this week

Mayers and two other men fled after he fired the gun, police said.

The two-time Grammy Award nominee was first arrested in the incident at Los Angeles International Airport on April 20, after a vacation with partner Rihanna and was released on bail the same day.

A member of the Harlem hip hop collective A$AP Mob, A$AP Rocky first made his mark in music with the single ‘Peso’ in 2011. His 2013 debut album, ‘Long. Live. A$AP,’ went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as did its 2015 follow-up, ‘At. Long. Last. A$AP.’

Charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, Mayers faces up to four years in jail on each charge if he’s convicted.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon decided that the charges were serious enough to press for felony status, rather than misdemeanor which would have meant only a maximum of one year jail time for each count.

‘Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,’ said Gascon after announcing the charges.

‘My office conducted a thorough review not the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.’

Prosecutors say that during the argument, Mayers pointed the handgun at Ephron, then fired it twice toward him, injuring his hand.

Ephron also has recently filed a civil assault and battery lawsuit in LA against Mayers in which his attorneys say that Mayers, ‘pulled out a handgun and purposefully pointed it in the direction of (Ephron) and fired multiple shots.’

Adding that Ephron was ‘in fear for his life,’ the suit says that Ephron was ‘struck by bullet projectile/fragments’ causing him injuries that required medical attention.
