Rochelle Humes admits she had to hand out leaflets in Tesco after band broke up

Rochelle Humes has admitted that she had to hand out leaflets in Tesco in a bump back down to earth, after the band she was in broke up.

The 34 year old mum of three found fame at just 12 years old, as she became part of a teenybopper S Club 7 spin-off band, S Club Juniors.

Rochelle was joined in the band by Frankie Bridge, Aaron Renfree, Jay Asforis, Stacey Franks, Calvin Goldspink, Daisy Shelvey and Hannah Richings.

The group achieved considerable success, with hits such as Automatic High, during their time together, from 2001 to 2003.

But, when the band ended, Rochelle told the Grace Beverley podcast that she had something of an identity crisis as she asked: "What am I going to do now?"

She went on to talk about child performers that have "gone on to live a weird life," before admitting that she, herself, went on to hand out leaflets in Tesco, by way of earning some extra pocket money.

Rochelle admitted to being "embarrassed" by the job as it "wasn't glamorous" after her success with the band.

Rochelle went on: "(During our time in the band) we were all earning good money.

"Like we could buy ourselves expensive things, and we all had nice cars, like we helped out our parents.

"But then it all ended – and so does the money."

But S Club Juniors wasn't Rochelle's only chance for fame, as she later joined girlband The Saturdays, who achieved massive success.

She is now married to Marvin Humes, 38, who rose to fame as part of boyband, JLS, on the X Factor in 2009, and the couple share three children, nine-year-old Alaia-Mai, Valentina, six, and two-year-old son Blake.

These days, Rochelle often fills in as a guest presenter on This Morning, whilst Marvin previously presented the Monday–Thursday late-night show across the Capital Network

The couple are believed to have a joined estimated net worth of almost £10million, and their London home that they share with their three children is thought to be worth £3.3million.

Recently, Rochelle was one of very few people from This Morning to speak out in support of Phillip Schofield, after he stepped down from the show after 21 years, and went on to admit to an affair with a young male colleague.

Despite many speaking out to vilify Phillip, Rochelle posted a sad tribute to him on social media.

Sharing three snaps of herself and the star on screen together, Rochelle said: "I’ve proudly been a part of the This Morning family for almost 10 years and over the last few, it has been an absolutely pleasure learning so much from you.

"Thanks for all the lessons – you’re a fountain of love, knowledge and laughter."
