Romeo Beckham begged his mum Victoria to change her suggestive Instagram caption after she told her followers that she finally saw husband David’s ‘worm‘ after 25 years.

Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria, 48, posted a video of footballer David, 47,  on Friday performing some dance moves and the famous ‘worm’ manoeuvre on the grass while wearing his silk pyjamas.

However, an embarrassed Romeo, 19, was not impressed with his mother’s cheeky double entendre as he was quick to comment that she had to change the caption.

The Worm is a dance motion associated with breakdancing and ‘funk’ subculture, also referred to as the centipede, the caterpillar or the dolphin, the snake or the wave.

Victoria joked in her caption: ‘After 25 years @davidbeckham showed me his worm.’

Her eye-raising comment garnered plenty of responses from her shocked followers, most notably her red-faced son Romeo who piped up: ‘Hahahahaahaha mum u gotta change that caption.’

Fans loved Posh Spice’s sexually suggestive caption with many believing there was enough of David’s talents to go round.

One said: ‘Well… that’s big enough for the world. We knew that.’

Another joked: ‘Haven’t you got four children????’

DJ Fat Tony quipped: ‘Love David’s worm!!!’, with celebrity hair stylist Sam McKnight adding: ‘I’d imagine you’ve seen it at least 4 times before.’

David also showed off his breakdances moved in the clip, with the father-of-four impressively doing a windmill and back spin as well as the worm. 

Romeo’s interaction with his mum comes after he split from girlfriend of three years Mia Regan.

While he spends much time stateside with football team Inter Miami, the distance has taken its toll on his former relationship with London-based model Mia, with a source confirming their split. 

The insider told MailOnline: ‘Essentially the long distance relationship at their young ages took its toll. 

‘Romeo and Mia are both lovely young people, they’re very fond each other and the family love Mia.

‘She’s continuing to collaborate with Victoria Beckham through her work, but sadly Romeo and Mia aren’t together anymore.’

The source added: ‘He’s focused on his football and living in Miami and she’s in the UK, working on her modelling and influencer career.

‘It’s amicable. The pair still support each other in their respective careers and she recently commented on him scoring for his club.’

The pair were together for three years, often sharing loved up snaps to their respective Instagram accounts, with Romeo now having wiped her from his page.
