Sam Thompson in ‘no rush’ to marry Zara as it ‘feels like theyre married already
We are constantly wondering when Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott will be making the next step in their romance by becoming engaged.
And in a new chat with us, Made in Chelsea star Sam, 30, has said he knows he will marry Zara, 25, one day, as he reveals "he could get married to her tomorrow".
But the Chelsea favourite – who opened up about baby plans with Zara – says he is in "no rush" as he feels like he and his Love Island star girlfriend are already married.
"I could get married to her tomorrow. I think she’d say yes," he shared. "You never know, but I think she would."
He continued: "I feel like me and Zara are already married. But she’s 25, I’m 30. The change between 25 and 30 is quite stark. I changed a lot.
"I just want her to have all that life experience. I’m always going to be here. I know I’m going to marry Zara, there’s no rush."
Sam went on: "I want her to be able to experience life fully, selfishly, first without being like, 'But what about my husband?'"
The Celebrity Big Brother star added that he is "incredibly lucky" to call Zara his girlfriend as he admits he can be a handful at home.
"I keep trying to find problems and there aren’t any. I’m incredibly lucky because I am not easy to be around all the time," he tells us.
"She compliments me so much, and she is a hard worker. I love how hard she works. I love how she doesn’t need me for anything."
Sam gushes further: "She’s such a boss girl. It’s so important to have someone you look up to, and I massively look up to her. We are in a good spot."
It comes after a source told us that both Sam and Zara are believed to be thinking about having a family more after Sam's sister Louise Thompson became a mother to baby Leo with her fiancé Ryan Libbey.
"Zara has been spending lots of time with Louise’s baby and posting lots of pictures," they said in April.
"She has always been the one who is forward thinking in terms of having a family – it’s definitely in the forefront of her mind.
"A lot of their friends have started to pair off and marry and have kids.
"Having that influence around him is probably going to turn his head to the idea."
