Seann Walshs pregnant girlfriend hopes Im A Celeb stint gives him new chapter as she speaks out
Seann Walsh's pregnant girlfriend, Grace Adderley, is hoping Boy George will come to perform at their child's first birthday while also speaking about her partner's less-than-stellar past.
Dance teacher Grace Adderley, who is due to give birth in February 2023, has jetted out to Australia to support Seann while hoping he can change his public perception while in I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
When asked if she is missing her comedian boyfriend, she said: "I do really miss him but I want him to have the full experience I want him to be in as a long as possible just so he has those memories and yeah I am pregnant so it is strange but I have done all my scans and he was there for all of those so I am now at the point where I have no scans left anyway so it has been fine."
Grace doesn’t like to go online because of Seann’s controversial past which included cheating on his then-girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, with his Strictly Come Dancing partner, Katya Jones, who at the time was married to fellow Strictly pro-Neil Jones.
"All the messages I have had from friends and family and work colleagues has been really positive but I don’t like to go online and look because it is upsetting for me if anyone says anything nasty and he can’t read it anyway so I am only hurting myself if I read any negative comments,” Grace explained.
She continued: "I hope this is a new chapter. This is the Seann I know and so I hope so I haven’ tried to look too much online I just go off what everyone that has been messaging me says and it is all positive. I am really happy for him."
On whether the UK viewers are seeing the real Seann, Grace confirmed that her boyfriend is typically “laughing all the time.”
In fact, Seann’s laugh is “so loud” that Grace has received messages from neighbours reading: “Oh we really miss hearing Seann laugh in the morning.”
“He is a child trapped in a 36 year old’s body but also like an old man as well complaining about his back in camp,” she added.
She continued: "I don’t think he has any unlikely relationships because he does get on with everybody like if you came into the area where we live he is best friends with the barista, he is best friends with the lady who works down the market, he is just friends with everyone, so no, it doesn’t surprise me at all.
“He is very personable."
Grace also thinks that Seann will properly hit it off with pop legend Boy George, as “ I knew that was the first gig he had ever been to with his mum and so I knew before he would absolutely love that BG was in there and he loves creative people.”
Joking about the unborn baby's first birthday, Grace said that they would “probably” have Boy George performing alongside comedian and actor Babatúndé Aléshé.
“It will be great!" she said.
While Seann initially said that Grace had pushed him into joining the ITV show, Grace herself said she couldn’t “take the credit.”
She explained: “I wouldn’t take the credit for saying it was my idea for him to go he was obviously nervous about accepting it and I just said well people are going to say what they want about you regardless of whether you do this or not so you may as well just enjoy your life and say yes to these opportunities it is such a fun life experience."
