Selling Sunset’s Vanessa Villela marries Nick Hardy ‘fairytale’ San Diego wedding

Selling Sunsetstar Vanessa Villela and Nick Harvey tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate ceremony and shared stunning pictures of their big day for the first time.

The happy couple married at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, California, just five miles from the Pacific Ocean.

Vanessa and Nick had previously revealed that theywere planning a “theatrical” big dayadding that wedding planning had pretty much turned into a “full time job.”

The couple’s nuptials featured inBridesmagazine, where they opened up further about planning their fairytale wedding, which they hoped would be “"magical and cinematic."

They said: “We wanted the event to be intimate yet grand, and to create something that would blow people's minds.”

And it seems like all their planning has paid off, with a beautiful ceremony and reception, with Vanessa wearing three different dresses throughout the day.

The blushing bride walked down the aisle in a stunning Galia Lahav strapless ball gown, paired with a floor-length veil and tiara.

For the ceremony the couple wanted an “enchanted garden” aesthetic, with white floral arrangements filling the outdoor space.

“Turning around and seeing Vanessa walk down the aisle for the first time took my breath away,” says Nick, adding that she looked so beautiful he felt like he was going to pass out.

The ceremony didn’t quite go on without any hitches though, as the couple revealed that when the rings were requested no one seemed to know who actually had them.

Although this was quickly solved as their page boy ran out shouting that he had the rings.

“We wanted our guests to be surrounded by the romance between us,” the couple says as they discuss the wedding reception.

To achieve this the couple has a huge LED screen presenting videos and photos of their love story.

For this part of the evening, Vanessa wore a shimmering gown from For Love Bridal, later changing into an embellished custom-made gown by Charbel Karam Haute Couture as the party continued inside.

The couple filled their big day with nods to their Mexican and British heritages, with their three-tiered white wedding cake featuring English fruit cake and tres leches flavours.

As the party moved indoors the bride had one last surprise for her groom, singing I Love You Baby live.

Vanessa’s brother had also performed during the day’s event, performing Ave Maria as the couple walked back down the aisle, and singing Music of the Night from the musical Phantom of the Opera, at the reception.
