Stacey Solomon feels awkward posting about ‘super expensive’ Abu Dhabi family trip

Stacey Solomon has admitted that she worries about sharing too much content from her expensive holidays due to the cost of living crisis.

Stacey, husband Joe Swash, and their blended family of seven jetted off to Abu Dhabi for a sun-soaked Easter getaway.

The trip was the first time they had gone away with new additions Rose and Belle and it looks like the family have certainly been making the most of it.

Stacey shared a series of pictures of her family enjoying time on the beach, heading for a day out to Ferrari World in the city and seeking out thrills during a visit to Warner Bros world.

The former X Factor contestant has posted plenty of pictures from the trip, but confessed that she doesn’t share her holiday with her followers guilt-free.

In a candid story, the star wrote, “I worry so much sharing sometimes because I know it’s really s**t out there for lots of people and holidays are super expensive & a lot of people are unable to go.”

She added that she “would never want to make anyone feel rubbish” before thanking her fans for all their kind messages that left her “so glad” she had shared the photos from her trip despite her anxiety about it.

The family stayed at the five star Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, which offers rooms at a starting price of around £300 a night.

The most expensive rooms at the hotel will set holidaymakers back a whopping £1,500 a night.

Stacey was conducting a Q and A on her social media about the trip and answered a couple more fan questions.

One follower asked if Stacey, who was praised for showing off her "normal, beautiful" bikini body so opnely, regretted not staying longer at the resort.

Stacey said that she had wanted to extend the holiday, but wasn't able to, as "running in the warmth" was amazing for the kids.

However, she explained that she felt she chose the best week to go as hotel staff had told her that, as it’s currently the Islamic holiday of Ramadan, a lot of the locals would be out of the city making the resort and beach quieter than usual.

Stacey also added that the temperature, which ranged from between 26 degrees celcius and 30, was absolutely ideal for the family- and that any warmer would have been too hot.
