Stacey Solomon’s son Rex, 3, has his long hair cut short as star says he ‘looks 21’

Stacey Solomon said her son Rex “looks 21” as she shared a video of him having his “morning Belle cuddles" after a hair cut.

Stacey, who said sh'e'd “lost the plot” as she went OTT with Easter decorations earlier in the week, spent some quality morning time with her son Rex, three, and her newborn daughter Belle.

The former X Factor contestant is mum to Rex, Rose, one, and Belle with her husband Joe Swash, and has sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships.

On Tuesday, the Loose Women panellist, 33, took to Instagram, where she shared an adorable video of Rex in a red onesie as he cuddled with his baby sister before heading off to nursery.

Belle was a picture in pink as she led next to her brother in a floral onesie and a dummy in her mouth as Stacey explained in the caption: “Good morning. Lots of love from Rex and Belle.

“Rexy does not love that he doesn’t get to see Belle while he’s at nursery. So he has all the morning Belle cuddles before he goes,” she added. “He had another haircut on Friday because he wants it shorter & I feel like he looks 21.”

In another snap uploaded shortly after the first, Rex could be seen cuddling with both Belle and Rose.

“Everybody loves Rexy. The best big brother ever,” she added in the caption.

The I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner recently hit back at fans who criticised her for stepping out for a manicure.

"Very impractical nails for a newborn,” one online troll wrote after Stacey flaunted her new nails on social media.

Stacey hit back: "Well I think they're really practical. They're great for tickles. Belle's absolutely loving them. Will I end up with like, poo underneath them at the end of every day? Probably. I've got a nail brush, I wash my hands. It'll be fine!"

"Have a day off Wilma it'll be ok I promise,” she quipped.

While fans supported the mum of five in the comments, Stacey was also backed up by the sister of Mario Falcone, Giovanna Fletcher.

Giovanna, who is also married to McFly band member Tom Fletcher, hit back at the "ridiculous" trolls during an appearance on C4's Steph's Packed Lunch with Steph McGovern.

"It’s ridiculous. Stacey can go and get her nails done if she wants to,” she scathed. "Any new mum is entitled to do whatever they want that makes them feel good."

She continued: “We all know how hard it is, those first few weeks of having a new-born baby at home, they're so difficult.

"Yes, it's amazing the fact that you've been able to bring this life into the world, and we know so many people who would love to be in that position.

“But you've got no idea what's going on beyond that picture.

"You've got no idea how many tears are being cried or you know how much sleep isn't being had and how difficult it actually is. So mum shaming, there's no space for it.”
