The stars were out in force on Thursday night as they attended the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever European premiere held at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square.

Leading the glamour was Lupita Nyong’o, who looked sensational in an embellished black and silver gown as she graced the black carpet in the capital.

The actress, 39, was joined by her equally stylish co-stars Danai Gurira, Leititia Wright and Michaela Coel as they posed for snaps at the screening of the Marvel film.

Lupita, who plays Nakia in the film, looked flawless as usual in her high-necked, ruffled number which featured waves of silver studs throughout.

She teamed her look with statement silver earrings and a matching bracelet, which she highlighted her features with a glam make-up palette.

Completing her look, Lupita’s locks were weaved into an intricate halo style.

Danai meanwhile put on a sizzling display as she flashed her toned legs beneath a black and silver sheer dress which featured a daring front split.

The actress, famed for portrayed Okoye in the franchise, added elaborate black satin puff sleeves to her look, boosting her height with simple black heels.

Not content with stunning with her head-turning outfit, Danai’s cropped locks were adorned with a smattering of of gold leaf.

Elsewhere, Michaela, 35, was typically chic in a stylish all black number as she took to the black carpet. 

The actress teamed a simple black vest top with a stylish black lace skirt which featured a high split.

Letitia, 28, who portrays Shuri, dazzled on the carpet in a form-fitting black shift dress with silver embellishments.

In the original film, the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020, starred as Black Panther’s title character, amid a cast that also included Michael B. Jordan and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o.

Numerous cast members from the first movie expressed interest in returning for a follow-up, although plans were complicated when Boseman tragically died of colon cancer. 

It was later confirmed that plans for a sequel would be moving forward and that the late actor’s role would not be recast.

Filming on the project began in June of last year and continued until its crew wrapped this past March.

The latest trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever confirmed a new Black Panther after King T’Challa’s death and showed a new hero for the first time.

The two-minute, action-packed clip was released by Marvel last month as it showed that someone would be taking the mantle after the death of Boseman’s character in addition to Ironheart being shown for the first time.

The very end of the trailer showed a woman in a clinging suit much like T’Challa’s, presumably his sister Shuri who is played by Letitia Wright.
