AceShowbiz -Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ autopsy reveals new details about his shocking death back in December 2022. According to an autopsy report obtained on Wednesday, May 24, the DJ for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” didn’t have drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death.
The docs additionally revealed that Stephen’s widow, Allison Holker, told officers that “to her knowledge, [Stephen] does not have a history of suicide attempts or suicidal ideation.” She also said that the DJ did “not have any mental health problems, does not have any financial issues or marital problems.”
Stephen was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a motel in Encino, California, on December 13, 2022, at the age of 40. The motel was just 14 minutes from his home.
Earlier this month, Allison opened up about the conversations she’s had with their kids, Weslie (14), Maddox (7) and Zaia (3), about their dad’s passing. “To us, Daddy’s in the stars,” she revealed to Hoda Kotb on “Today“. “So, we can go outside and talk to him whenever we want…They just ask, ‘When is Daddy coming back?’ and that’s a really hard one.”
The “So You Think You Can Dance” alum went on saying, “And then it’ll be a couple weeks later, ‘But does he come back when he’s older? Like, when Daddy’s older he’ll come back?’ “
In the episode, Allison also reflected on her relationship with Stephen. “I got 13 years with one of the most magical humans,” she noted. “And I learned so much about love and gratitude.”
Allison confirmed Stephen’s death in a statement that read, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.”
“He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory,” she continued. “We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
