Taylor Swift fans say Eras Tour tickets are still available after selling out

Taylor Swift fans expressed mixed emotions during her tour sale, as some did and others didn't manage to get their hands on tickets.

But it seems all hope is not lost, as some fans have reported that Ticketmaster has released unexpected tickets.

Thousands from across the country tried their luck to try and get their hands on tickets for her Eras Tour, with the Shake It Off singer coming to the UK for shows next summer.

Tickets went on sale on various dates over the last week and to help with overwhelming demand, the ticket selling companies implemented staggered slots for each night of the tour.

Those who wanted to buy a ticket, needed to register their interest before the sale and if they were lucky enough, they then got a code.

Due to the high demand for tickets they sold out in a matter of minutes, with only the most expensive VIP packages left on most ticket websites in the hours after they were released.

Many were left disappointed and thought their chance was gone – but now fans have been sharing how standard price tickets are ‘still available’ on Ticketmaster.

Swifties reported that more general admission tickets became available for her gigs at Aviva Stadium in Dublin next June at around 5pm on Friday, but then quickly sold out again.

They have taken to Twitter to advise anyone who still wants a ticket continue to check the Ticketmaster website, in case another surprise batch are released.

One fan said: "Guys, Dublin nights 1-3 are still available for sale for those with code. I just bought a front standing at regular price.”

Another added: “There’s Taylor Swift tickets available for shows, Ticketmaster just released some original prices. Double check Ticketmaster over the next few days in case they release more!”

A third commented: “Ahhhhhh Ticketmaster just released more general tickets for Taylor Swift Dublin!!! Go go go!!!!!”

While another posted: “I literally looked for the giggles as I was heartbroken to not get any yesterday and literally just got them omg.”

If more surprise tickets do become available, it should be noted that only those who pre-registered and were selected for a code will be able to buy them.

Others who pre-registered and were put on waitlist might receive an invitation and code if more tickets become available.

Once the code has been used it cannot be used again, and it can only be used to buy up to four tickets.
