And now filming for Season Six is well underway, Dominic West donned full military uniform to look the double of the now-King Charles III complete with an Order of the Garter Sash and Aiguillettes.
The actor, 53, has been starring in the hit Netflix series to play Charles during the 1990s onwards, when his marriage to Princess Diana broke down and his relationship with Queen Camilla became public.

On Monday Dominic looked in good spirits wearing the outfit, donning a replica of Prince Charles’s military uniform as he arrived in London.
As Prince, King Charles III served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Royal Navy, providing him with several awards and medals worn on his left hand side.
The lavish gold detailing on the cuffs, golden hardware and crisp tailoring of his uniform was emulated perfectly for Dominic to be entirely in character.
Despite the backlash the show has been receiving for its ‘misleading’ depictions of key scenes, the actor was all smiles as he was spotted arriving on set in central London.

The much anticipated fifth series of The Crown finally hit Netflix on Wednesday, and within hours of its release viewers took to Twitter to share their immediate reaction.

His appearance on Monday comes after fans quickly questioned bosses’ casting of Dominic West as Prince Charles.
Flooding social media with their thoughts while binging through the controversial royal drama, viewers were quick to note that Dominic’s performance was ‘too charismatic’ to replicate the Royal.
Series five of The Crown begins with Charles and Diana’s marriage at breaking point, and sets the stage for their 1991 separation and divorce five years later.
While some fans noted Dominic’s charming persona, others claimed that he had been ‘miscast’ as Charles.
One tweeted: ‘Dominic West is too handsome to be portraying Prince Charles in The Crown,’ while another added: ‘#TheCrownNetflix just dropped and I have to say, strong start with the transition from past to present and Claire Foy, but Dominic West is just too handsome for Charles. Elizabeth Debicki is perfect as Diana.’
