The Speakmans spill what This Morning team is really like to work with
This Morning regulars the Speakmans rose to fame as the ITV show’s resident therapists.
However, the couple have now revealed that although they are the experts in innovative therapy techniques, their This Morning colleagues work just as hard in supporting one another during tough times.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk about their appearance on Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted, Nik and Eva Speakman were quizzed on whether This Morning is really a “big family” behind-the-scenes.
“It’s absolutely all the same,” Nik insisted in response.
Eva agreed with her husband, adding: “We feel so privileged and blessed because it literally is, you know, that if you needed something, you can pick up the phone – they’re all there.

“Everybody is supportive of one another.”
Nik and Eva even had to rely upon one of their This Morning pals, Alison Hammond, to help them escape The Hunters on the Channel 4 reality show.
The couple suddenly arrived at Alison’s home, where she provided shelter and food for them.
Despite choosing Alison’s house for refuge, Nik went on to say that they would have been welcomed with open arms by any of their This Morning pals.

Nik explained: “And whilst we turned up at Alison’s house, we could have turned up at anyone’s house.”
Eva continued: “And they would have looked after us, yeah, honestly, they are a fabulous team.”
The stars also shared how the This Morning presenting team are all keen to share their skills with one another.
Nik recalled sharing therapy techniques with their colleagues from the show, while Eva credited This Morning’s resident chef Phil Vickery for helping her improve her Christmas dinner last year.
She admitted: “My Brussels sprouts this year were the best I’ve had at Christmas, thanks to Phil Vickery.”
“I hadn’t eaten Brussels sprouts until Phil made them,” Nik added.
Eva then reiterated: “We are so lucky to share tips and things.”
Alongside their work on the ITV daytime show, the couple have been seen fighting to stay away from a team of hunters tracking their every move, in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.
Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up to Cancer continues tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm
