Boggans is understood to be dating Kelsey some eight months after the death of her husband – a singer in the popular British boy band – following a long battle with brain cancer.

Following the news, Kelsey, who was wearing no make-up and wore her hair pulled back into a ponytail, was seen taking the phone call away from her house.

The electrician spent time behind bars after fatally punching Shaun McDermott, 44, during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford.

Boggans was waiting for his then-girlfriend to collect him when an argument broke out with the 44-year-old, who was knocked to the ground during the skirmish. CCTV footage later captured the electrician walking away from the scene.

Mr McDermott was discovered by police laying on the pavement at about 1am with a brain haemorrhage. A postmortem found that he died as a result of head injuries, with Boggans handed a four-year sentence by a judge at the Old Bailey.

Mr McDermott had been drinking with two of his sisters Maureen and Kathy at the nearby Wheatsheaf pub before heading home.

Kelsey’s representative has been contacted for comment by MailOnline.

She has been mourning her husband, Tom, since losing him to cancer eight months ago and admitted recently that life on her own was ‘tough’.

Mrs Parker and Boggans, a father-of-two, are believed to have met when she took a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes, in September.

More recently she attended the wedding of a member of his family in Kent and the couple were clearly affectionate with one another.

Boggans recently split from the mother of his children, but there was no crossover with Mrs Parker.

‘Evenings are so tough,’ she said. ‘Because the kids go to bed and then it’s just me and that’s the time you speak to your partner, you gossip and you talk and I don’t have that any more.’

Kelsey posts frequently on social media about her late husband, and makes a conscious effort to keep his memory alive in the minds of her young children, with a special Father’s Day post on Instagram in June, though she did admit the occasion ‘will be hard’.

Earlier this month, she took part in a gruelling five-day trek across the Sahara Desert to raise funds for a breast cancer awareness charity.

The group set off on the extreme challenge on November 12 and trekked for more than ten hours each day through Morocco’s unforgiving landscape in a bid to reach 100km.

Out and about: Earlier, Kelsey was seen for the first time since it was exclusively revealed by MailOnline that she is dating a convicted killer eight months after the death of her late husband Tom

She was joined by reality stars Vicky Pattison, Pete Wicks and author Giovanna Fletcher as they aimed to trek 100km across the Sahara Desert over five days in aid of CoppaFeel!

Kelsey said of the adventure: ‘I have never done anything like this before, but it is just the challenge I need to focus my mind after a very difficult year.’

‘The thought of being part of a team full of inspiring people who have also gone through extremely tough times and conquering this challenge together is fuelling my training regime.’

Tom died from stage four glioblastoma brain cancer at the age of 33.

He was diagnosed with the illness in October 2020, and given just 12 months to live by doctors, and passed away on March 30.

Next month, Kelsey is due to front an ITV documentary exploring her grief and following her life since Tom’s death. She will give an insight into her journey of grief in the documentary as she raises their children.

New connection: Mrs Parker and Boggans, a father-of-two, are believed to have met when she took a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes, in September

Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom will see her allow cameras into her home to follow her very personal journey with grief as she hopes to connect with people in similar situations, including other famous faces.

From household names who open up about their own personal experiences with grief, to other young widows and bereavement experts, her journey will see her and her family mark major milestones without Tom.

Throughout the six-part ITVBe series, she tries out death cafes, grief yoga and other methods of coming to terms with loss, exploring her bereavement as she tries to rebuild her life without her husband.

A source said: ‘It’s very early days and no-one knows what the future will bring, but for now, Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life’. Boggans pictured with his ex

Kelsey took to Instagram last month to share the news of her documentary, admitting it has been ‘very difficult’ at times.

She revealed she was in the middle of filming as she described it as a ‘rollercoaster ride’ but shared her hope that the series can help other people.

She posted: ‘I am delighted to share with you that Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom will be on your screens later this year on ITV.

Family: Kelsey will give an insight into her journey with grief in a documentary as she raises their children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two, since her husband’s death from brain cancer in March. Here he is pictured with their children

‘A six-part observational documentary following me and my family over the last six months since Tom’s death. Obviously a very difficult film to make but one that I’m incredibly proud of.

‘We are still in the middle of filming and it’s been a rollercoaster ride but I can’t thank the team enough for believing in me to share my story, to continue Tom’s work and cement his legacy and to hopefully help others.

‘I have met and am meeting the most incredible people who have loved, lost and who are fighting to keep their loved ones here.

‘I’m learning about myself, pushing myself and I’m sharing it all with my amazing family and friends who are there with me every step of the way. They’re all in it and I can’t wait for you to meet them!

Kelsey has spoken of how difficult she has found life since Tom passed away earlier this year

‘The cameras are following the hard times but we’ve been blessed with an amazing summer and the team have been there to get it all so join us for camping trips, Cornwall, weddings, christenings and so much more love and laughter along the way.’

Kelsey said she hopes her family’s ‘optimism shines through’ in the documentary as she said she wants to ‘keep moving forward’ despite her devastating loss.

She dedicated the series to her late husband Tom and said she hopes it makes him ‘shine’ in the lengthy post.

She continued: ‘Tom called us the Positive Parkers and I really hope our optimism shines through because life is for living and we’re here, we’re doing it and I just want to keep moving forward.

‘Thank you so much for all your support, it really does mean the world to us. Every word of encouragement, every NTA vote, every person who tells us we got this… you push us forward.

‘I don’t know where I’d be right now without all of you and everyone who has believed in me. Working with @aheadofthegame_foundation , filming with @flickerproductions @itv and my incredible management team @screativeagency it’s giving me a purpose, a future, a reason for being and I’m so grateful.

‘Oh and watch out for the superstars of the show @aureliaroseparker and @bodhithomasparker who will bring all the joy! They make me so proud and I know @Tomparkerofficial will be shining bright watching them entertain you all.

‘Tom, this is for you and I hope it’s making you shine up there.’

The documentary will unflinchingly look at bereavement and will confront death with compassion, empathy, emotional frankness and some humour, according to a description.

The series is being produced by the same team that brought viewers Caring For Derek, which gave an insight into Derek Draper’s recovery from long Covid, which has left him bed-bound and seen him cared for by his wife, presenter Kate Garraway.
