Ulrika Jonsson reveals her son, 15, was teased over her nude snaps
Ulrika Jonsson reveals her ‘upset’ son, 15, has confided that he’s being teased at school over her racy nude Instagram snaps
Ulrika Jonsson has revealed her 15-year-old son has been teased over her racy nude snaps on social media.
The TV personality, 55, is no stranger to flashing the flesh on Instagram, with one snap in particular in which she poses completely naked while holding a wheelbarrow raising more than a few eyebrows.
And despite Ulrika being proud of her body and what her images represents, she told how her son’s fellow students didn’t feel the same and have subsequently picked on her son Malcolm over it.
In her latest column in The Sun in which she reacts to Ashley James’ Instagram rant about the sexual objectification of women’s bodies, Ulrika shared her own experience with this and explained how her son has suffered as a consequence.
She said: ‘The other day, my youngest male Ungrateful – a hormonal 15-year old boy – confided in me that he’d been teased by some older boys at school about the fact that I “post nudes” on social media. He was understandably upset and concerned.’

Ooh I say! One snap in particular, in which she poses completely naked while holding a wheelbarrow, raised more than a few eyebrows
The mother-of-four shares youngest child Malcolm with her ex-husband Brian Monet.
She told how she quickly realised which image he was referring too, telling how she posed for the naked snap to raise awareness for men’s mental health charity, StrongMen and made ‘no financial gain’ from it.
Ulrika added of the snap: ‘While I was applauded by many for my courage, I was also trolled. Some said I looked scrawny and old, that I was attention-seeking, sad and desperate. This is par for the course when women show off any parts of their bodies or pose “sexily”.
She added that one women expose themselves ‘physically’, they become ‘targets’ with those who hold opinions about women’s bodies.
In addition to humiliation for her son, the former Gladiators host told how Instagram later remove the snap claiming she was ‘soliciting sex’, with an exasperated Ulrika remarking: ‘we can’t win’.
Meanwhile, Ulrika also turned her thoughts to Ashley James recent Instagram post in which she shared her thoughts on the subject of sexual objectification in an empowering body positive post.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 36, reflected on why women are objectified after she left the house in a nursing vest top and felt the need to cover up in public as she was braless and felt paranoid, while men happily walk around topless.
Though she agreed, Ulrika claimed Ashley’s views were ‘not a revolutionary thought’, explaining how she herself has been ‘on the receiving end’ of this objectification longer and more times ‘than she’s worn see-through tops’.

Speaking out: Ulrika shared her own experience with this and explained how her son has suffered as a consequence, adding he was ‘understandably upset and concerned’

She shared: ‘I know it’s not nice. I, too, find it degrading and infuriating. And no one could possibly pretend it’s fair. As women, we do still get treated and viewed differently to men. We’ve got better at calling it out, thank God, but whether it will ever end, I sadly doubt. Not in my lifetime at least.’
Ulrika added that with the invention of social media, women are now able to post what they like and have a ‘perception of control’ over ‘our own marketing’.
She went on to say that while social media is great for spreading a message and giving people the feeling of ‘autonomy’, on the other hand there is always negative reaction, with the star noting that one has to ‘accept’ that everything we post isn’t always going to be liked or ‘popular’.
It comes after Ulrika revealed earlier this month that her sex life is ‘spicier’ than ever now that she’s in her 50s.
Ulrika made a very X-rated confession as she joked about her dinner preferences.
She shared a snap of her plate with her Instagram followers, revealing she was set to tuck into Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, peas and lashings of gravy.

Yet the Swedish stunner couldn’t help but make a very cheeky joke in her caption, writing: ‘Obligator balls last night at the Swedish place.
‘(Never as good as the meaty balls I normally like in my mouth.’
Ulrika previously confessed she ‘feels sexier’ than ever as she prepares to ‘enter her sixth decade’ of life, noting that turning 50 made her feel ‘much more confident about who she is and what she wanted’.
The former Gladiators host said she has ‘learnt to accept’ and ’embraced’ getting older because she no longer cares what people think of her.
Ulrika went on to gush that ’50 is the new 20′ and that she has become ‘fearless and not afraid’ with age.
