Wayne Rooney cuts his forehead open while Coleen downs shots as couple enjoy boozy night out with pals at plate-smashing restaurant in Dubai

Wayne and Coleen Rooney well and truly let their hair down on Thursday as they enjoyed a boozy night out with pals in Dubai.

Fresh from the drawn-out Wagatha Christie court case against Rebekah Vardy, the couple enjoyed a fun night out with pals including Tanya and Phil Bardsley at Opa Restaurant – known for its plate smashing.

However, while Coleen, 36, happily downed shots, her footballer husband, 37, suffered a slight injury as he cut his forehead open during the wild evening.

Living their best life: Wayne and Coleen Rooney well and truly let their hair down on Thursday as they enjoyed a boozy night out with pals in Dubai.

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya, 41, documented the evening on her Instagram story, which saw Wayne, Coleen and other pals dancing in a line while bits of broken plate flew around the room.

And it appears that Wayne may have got cause in the crossfire as in another clip he was seen bleeding from the head, nursing his wound with a white napkin.

Wayne was clearly not impressed with his injury as he jokingly moaned about being struck while ‘sitting here minding my own business’, while his pals were left in stitches.

Struggling to contain her laughter as she filmed the action, Tanya quipped: ‘That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life!’

Uh oh! However, while Coleen happily downed shots, her footballer husband suffered a slight injury as he cut his forehead open during the wild evening

Meanwhile, Coleen was living her best life as she had a shot poured while it balanced on her plate on top of her head.

She then downed the tipple before smashing the plate it was balanced on to the floor.

The beauty stunned in a plunging hot pink mini dress which she teamed with a towering pair of nude heels and glam make-up.

Tanya’s post also saw her pose for a sweet snap with Coleen and another pal, with the table seen laden with delicious Greek food and plenty of drinks.

Coleen and Wayne were also joined on the night out by their four children, with the holiday no doubt enjoying a trip to the United Arab Emirates city for Wayne’s birthday, which he marked days previously.

It comes as the couple splashed out on a luxury family holiday after Coleen’s ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial win.

The presenter is said to be ‘celebrating in style’ following her victory over Rebekah Vardy, which sees the latter face an estimated £4million bill.

According to The Sun, Coleen jetted away to the lavish five-star Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai with husband Wayne and their four children.

A source told the publication: ‘Coleen’s clearly decided to put it to good use and relax in style.

‘Everyone knows she loves a holiday, sometimes she goes on a dozen a year, but this is something else.

‘Think luxury at the very highest end. They’ve flown out first class. No expense has been spared.’

With the court drama ending in Coleen’s favour, it falls to Rebekah and her footballer husband Jamie to foot the enormous bill and she has already been ordered to pay £1.5million of her rival’s legal fees.

The WAG – whose reputation is in tatters after she scored one of the worst own goals in British legal history – is thought to have to find £800,000 by November 15.

But she’ll also have to pay her own eye-watering fees – which have been put at £2,017,860.

In addition to approximately £200,000 of additional trial costs this could bring the final total to around £3.7m – although some estimates suggest it could exceed £4m.

It comes at the hands of a High Court judge who dismissed her evidence as ‘evasive or implausible’ in one of the most closely-followed cases in recent years.

Celebrating:  It comes as the couple splashed out on a luxury family holiday after Coleen’s ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial win

She was accused of deliberately deleting WhatsApp messages central to the case as it was suggested her agent also intentionally dropped her phone in the North Sea.

Rebekah and her husband were left with the bill after Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in favour of Coleen in a judgment that said swathes of her evidence given under oath had been ‘manifestly inconsistent’, ‘not credible’ and needed to be treated with ‘very considerable caution’.

In July, Justice Steyn also ruled that Coleen’s viral social media post accusing Rebekah of leaking her private information to the press was ‘substantially true’.

It followed a viral social media post where Rooney had revealed she had put false stories on her Instagram page. These fake tales then emerged in The Sun newspaper.

Court: Coleen (pictured in May) is said to be ‘celebrating in style’ following her victory over Rebekah Vardy, which sees the latter face an estimated £4million bill

Because she had changed her settings so only one user could see it, she felt confident to make the famous declaration ‘it’s….Rebekah Vardy’s account’.

After the explosive case, the judge ruled that Vardy should pay 90 per cent of Coleen’s costs.

Coleen incurred total costs of more than £2million, but £350,000 of those had already been racked up before the trial in May, so those were removed to produce a final figure of £1,667,860.

Rebekah was ordered to pay £800,000 of the costs bill by 4pm on November 15.
