Fardereen Deonta Grier, who is the son of Thug’s older sister, was found crying while his girlfriend Destiny Fitzpatrick was found dead in a pool of blood by the front door.

AceShowbizYoung Thug‘s nephew reportedly was arrested for murder. According to TMZ, Fardereen Deonta Grier was taken into custody on Wednesday, July 6 for allegedly killing his girlfriend.

The outlet reported on Friday that Grier shot Destiny Fitzpatrick in the face in Atlanta, Georgia following an argument overheard by a neighbor. According to an East Point PD spokesperson, Grier was found crying while Fitzpatrick was found dead in a pool of blood by the front door.

Grier told police that he is Thug’s nephew, the son of the YSL founder’s older sister. Before confessing to murdering his girlfriend, he told cops that the incident happened while he had been fighting off two armed, masked intruders.

Grier has since been detained at Cobb County Jail. Thug himself has been behind bars after he was arrested on May 9 at a Buckhead mansion. The Grammy Award-winning artist was booked into Fulton County Jail on multiple charges in a RICO case.

His frequent collaborator Gunna, who is among one of the 28 men charged in the 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment, turned himself in two days later. The two stars will remain in jail as they were denied bond.

Amid his incarceration, Thug released a freestyle in which he gets candid about contemplating suicide. “I’m just sitting here in my cell like damn, I’m really in jail,” the 30-year-old raps during his phone call with his nephew BSlime on June 16. “God give me another chance to show you I can prevail. I could put my arms from wall to wall inside this tiny a** cell.”

“I know that I’m a man, but f**k, I can’t stop the crying,” the emcee, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, laments. “If this is hell, then I don’t wanna know what hell is like/ I’d rather hit Rodeo with my daughters on Chanel bikes/ Stop to get ice cream, remembering the kind they like.”
