Zayn Malik showed off a brand new look as he shared a rare snap of himself on social media on Thursday.
The former One Direction star, 30, sported a cornrows hairstyle as he spent time in a recording studio with producer Daniel Zaidenstadt.
The singer, who generally keeps out of the spotlight, looked much different from recent snaps where he had much longer locks.
Zayn cut a csual figure in the snap, wearing a black T-shirt as he struck a playful pose alongside Daniel.
Daniel also shared a snap of the pair to his Instagram as he thanked Zayn for helping him out, writing: ‘Zayn hooked me up with his own design for my new DJ project’.

The snaps come after Zayn and Selena Gomez found themselves at the center of wild speculation that they are dating.
TikTok user Klarissa Garcia posted a viral video in which she claimed a friend of hers is a hostess at a restaurant where Zayn and Selena dined together.
Klarissa then showed a screen-grab of her friend’s WhatsApp messages claiming that she saw the pop stars kissing at the eatery.
‘Tell me how Selena Gomez And zayne Just walked into [redacted] Hand in hand Making out And I seated them,’ read a breathless string of texts.
Selena, 30, who is a longtime pal of One Direction’s Niall Horan, is one of only 18 people Zayn follows on Instagram.
MailOnline reached out to representatives for Selena and Zayn for comment.
The new spate of dating rumors has sent the fans into a tizzy online, where they have been excitedly posting their reactions.
Some TikTok commenters exclaimed: ‘Is this true???? Please tell me it’s true,’ ‘She deserves all the happiness in the world,’ ‘I love this for her,’ Ooooooo!!! I really hope this is true!!!’ and ‘It’s giving the best comeback.’
