Amy Hart reveals why Love Island contestants can sleep in different beds

Love IslandstarAmy Harthas been taking to social media throughout this series to answer many fan questions.

Previously the beauty, 30, has told fans whycontestants don’t use the villa’s bath, what the girls do if they get their period in the villaand therules concerning naps.

Many have found her a fount of knowledge in telling fans what really goes on in the villa and now former contestantCharlie Radnedge has been following in her footsteps and doing the same.

Replying to a fan question, Amy recently answered if it was possible to “go into a separate bed even when in a couple”.

Amy said: “I think the rules are, you only sleep in the dog house which is a one person bed or you can sleep outside”.

A visibly confused Amy added that this year contestants can sleep outside – as Luca Bish previously did.

She added: “In our year there were proper double beds, apart from when its Casa Amor”.

Amy recalled herself, Amber Gill and Molly-Mage Hague making a bed out of the “weird tic tac shaped thing” with three beanbags on their heads.

She added that the experience was “horrendous”.

The star, who appeared on the show in 2019 answered a pressing question earlier when someone asked what thegirls in the villa do during their period.

Amy said: “I’ve heard this so many times. So many times. I don’t really understand what you think I'm going to say, like we’re segregated in another room, only allowed in black bikinis.

“We just get on with it, like you would do if you’re on holiday.”

She then revealed what she did while she was in the villa.

“I personally ran my pill packs together because I didn't want to have a period while I was in there and the doctor was like, ‘Yeah that’s not going to work’ and I was like, ‘It will, it will’. And it did work… until it didn’t.

“But yeah, you just get on with it,” she said as she shrugged into the camera.

Amy captioned the video: “I understand everyone is different and they’d make allowances I'm sure, I was just talking about my experience and meant we weren’t banished.”

While 28 year old Charlie revealed that contestants are told to leave the garden and move inside when it rains.

“When it rains in the villa, you all have to go inside and take a little break until things clear up again because you can’t film Love Island just in a bedroom, can you?” he said.
