Bear Grylls, Sandra Oh and Sophie Winkleman were among the celebrities who attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday.

Grylls, 48, was spotted wearing a black suit while waving to mourners prior to the monarch’s service at 11 a.m. in London.

“It’s a day we will never forget… a truly beautiful testament to our Nation’s Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Rest in Peace. Your duty done. Long Live King Charles…”

Grylls was invited to the funeral representing the Scouts as his role as the United Kingdom’s Chief Scout.

He was first appointed to the position in 2009 and served a second term beginning in 2015.

The “Man vs. Wild” star met the Queen several times over the years, including when he was made an Officer of the British Empire in 2019. As for other members of the royal family he’s bonded with, he previously revealed that he and Prince George, 9, once ate a live ant together.

“Chief Scout, @BearGrylls, will represent Scouts at State Funeral today and pay final respects to our Patron, HM The Queen,” the Scouts tweeted early Monday. “Our thoughts are with the Royal Family.”

Oh, 51, also paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth as a member of the Order of Canada.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum was spotted in a black dress and black hat as she made her way inside Westminster Abbey in a small line alongside other Canadian participants, including musician Gregory Charles and Olympic gold medallist swimmer Mark Tewksbury.
