A CARAVAN has gone on sale for a whopping £150,000 – the same price as many two-bedroom houses nearby.
Yet estate agents are confident would-be buyers will come flocking for the mobile home plonked in the middle of a field.
They say anyone snapping up the caravan might lack all mod cons, but the reason for the high price lies in the spectacular surrounding views.
The new owner will be treated to the sight of one of Britain's most attractive landscapes – as well as close access to a "surfers' paradise".
The makeshift dwelling might cost about the same as a two-bedroom terrace house in Wales.
But the suroundings off the country's north-west coast are "a joy to behold", according to estate agents who have just slapped on the £150,000 guide price.

The field lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Llyn Peninsula, overlooking Porth Neigwl – Welsh for "Hell's Mouth".
Anyone moving in would also enjoy another perk thanks to a legal technicality.
Most such mobile homes must be part of a larger caravan park, with seasons typically running merely between March and October.
But there has been a caravan in this field for 60 years – the current one having been pitched there since 2011.

Law changes in the meantime have meant this one – like others which have been sited for at least 30 years – has permission from Cyngor Gwynedd council not only to remain but also to be occupied at any time of year.
The views on offer includes a sweeping beach, as well as seascapes over the bay to Cilan Head to the south-east and south-westerly across Mynydd Rhiw.
It also comes with half an acre of the surrounding field, according to Wales Online.
The caravan has been owned by one family for almost three decades, used for holiday breaks, but they have now decided to put it on the market.
The neighbouring 7km-long "Hell's Mouth" beach in Gwynedd is renowned as a favourite by surfers and kayakers, appreciating the soaring waves whipped up by the Atlantic Ocean.
The beach can be reached directly via the clay cliffs as well as along a descending footpath.
Martin Lewthwaite, branch manager of estate agents Beresford Adams Abersoch, said: "The council doesn't normally allow caravans and mobile homes to be granted on individual sites.
"It has to be part of an existing caravan park normally – or if you've got a caravan within the curtilage of your own house, they allow that – but they don't normally allow a caravan to be sited on an individual plot of land like this.
"But this caravan has been on this plot for in excess of 30 years and the laws were different to what they are now, so they have granted it as a lawful use to remain there.
"And it can be used any time of the year. Caravan parks are sometimes limited to be used between March and October each year, but this van can be used any time of the year, but just not as a permanent dwelling."
It could also be replaced by a new and improved version – though that would still need wheels and the ability to be moved, to still qualify as a mobile home.
Mr Lewthwaite added: "There's no services, no electricity, no water and no drainage so any buyer has to investigate that with Dwr Cymru and Scottish Power to get power and facilities to the site, or bring their own diesel generator."
But he promised potential customers: "The beach is outstanding, the walks second to none and the coastal and peninsula landscape a joy to behold.
"It's a wonderful spot, to be right on the coastline above a famous beach.
"It's pretty unique, so we based the price on what caravans and chalets make on park sites on Llyn Peninsula.
"But with this one, you can own your own land – you have the freehold and are not dictated to on how much rent you have to pay every year. There's more freedom than at a caravan park."

And in stark contrast to the new £150,000 offer, a different happy buyer picked up her prized mobile home for just £150.
