Channel 4 is planning the launch of a brand new dating show which asks strangers to have online sex using Bluetooth-synced toys on a first date, it’s been revealed.

The new show, which has a working title of Sex First, relies on the theory that matches must have sexual chemistry first and foremost.

Single people will be introduced to each other online as avatars before testing their chemistry by having sex online.

If the pairs enjoy their first sexual encounter they can then meet in person to see if the bond is just as compatible in real life.

The pair can then decide whether to take the relationship further and start dating.

A TV insider told The Sun it would be the ‘most outrageous’ dating show from the network yet.

They revealed: ‘If it’s green lit, it is bound to cause controversy but the series could also attract some big ratings.’

The broadcaster also airs dating shows such as Married at First Sight and the controversial show Naked Attraction on its sister channel E4.

Naked Attraction sees singletons decide whether or not they want to date one another based on their naked bodies.

The series – which is presented by Anna Richardson, focuses on a singleton choosing a love interest to date after seeing six potential matches naked.

Having gained popularity since it debuted in 2016, Naked Attraction now has spin-offs aired around Europe.

In the show the contributors bodies and faces are gradually revealed through successive rounds, from the feet up.

At each round, the chooser eliminates one naked person until only two are left, when the chooser also takes off their clothes to make the final choice.

The chooser then decides which person they wish to go out with, and the two then go for a fully clothed date.

Speaking about the popular series in an exclusive chat with MailOnline in 2020, Anna claimed she possesses the ability of predicting the size of a man’s package while he’s fully clothed, which she puts down to seeing so many intimate body parts.

Anna said: ‘We worked out the other day on Naked Attraction that I’ve seen over 1,000 penises. I’ve almost gone penis blind. I just don’t really see them anymore.

‘I’ve got the gynaecological version of The Sixth Sense, wherever I go I can see naked people.

‘I can judge everybody with their clothes on and know what’s hiding underneath.

‘It’s a rare and unwanted gift that whoever turns up at my front door I can give them a quick up and down and think ‘yeah, I can tell what’s going on down there’.’

She added: ‘I reckon I can guess if they’ve got public hair as well or whether they’ve got genital piercing.’
