Coronation Street’s Kelly star Millie Gibson’s life off screen including stunning home

Since stepping foot on the cobbles back in 2019, Millie Gibson has become popular amongCoronation Street fans thanks to her character’s dramatic storylines.

However, Millie, who plays Kelly Neelan on the soap, is getting ready to say goodbye to the ITV drama after three years on our screens as she embarks on a new chapter of her career.

In upcoming scenes,Kelly’s deep desire to seek revenge against Gary Windass goes horribly wrong and her character is left in a deadly gun showdown.

But away from the show, 18 year old MIllie’s life is, thankfully, a lot less dramatic. So, as she prepares to leave the Corrie cobbles, let’s take a look at the young actress’ life off-screen…

Prior to joining the cast of Coronation Street, MIllie made her TV debut on the CBBC series Jamie Johnson in 2017.

During that same time, the TV star briefly appeared on the BBC One drama Love, Lies and Records.

Following her stint on the BBC shows, Millie subsequently joined the ITV series Butterfly, where she played the character of Lily Duffy.

While on Coronation Street, the teenager has been part of some difficult storylines, including one that saw her character lose her mum to cancer and additionally battle homelessness.

On the back of her incredible performance, MIllie was awarded the Best Young Actor accolade at the British Soap Awards earlier this year.

Despite her decision to step back from Corrie, the soap star will clearly leave the show with plenty of love and support after striking up a series of close relationships with her fellow stars, many of which regularly feature on her Instagram.

Earlier last month,Millie headed to Salford Quays after a day of filming with castmates including Mikey North and Samia Longchambon to celebrate her time on the show.

Elsewhere, the Corrie starcelebrated her 18th birthday with her fellow co-stars after throwing a lavish birthday bash which she documented on social media for her 146,000 followers to see.

Taking to the platform to give fans a glimpse inside the glitzy event, Millie posted a snap of herself wearing a stunning red ball gown as she posed in front of a gold balloon arch and a giant ‘18’ lightbox.

Captioning the snap, she joked: “I mean, finally :)”.

In particular, Millie appears to have struck up a close friendship with Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, and the pair take the time to gush over each other on Instagram.

But when she’s not with her Coronation Street family, the Keely Neelan actress can be found at home in Manchester where she lives with her actual family.

The home regularly features as a stunning backdrop to Millie’s Instagram pics, giving her followers a sneak peek inside the property.

In various pictures, fans will have seen Millie’s living room which features deep blue walls, an ornate black fireplace and a light grey armchair, ideal for cosy nights indoors.

Elsewhere, the home also enjoys a sun-soaked conservatory which is the perfect Instagram background thanks to its exposed brick wall, wooden floors and green leafy plants. The room also features a tan coloured leather sofa as well as a burgundy floral lamp.
