David Beckham shows off incredible bee-hive at £12 million Cotswolds home
David Beckham has been showing off his impressive beekeeping skills at his multimillion-pound family home in the Cotswolds.
The famous family splits their time between their lavish Cotswolds mansion, their luxury Miami penthouse, and their townhouse in London.
And the sports star, 48, loves to unwind around the grounds of the Oxfordshire home, which features everything from a football pitch and tennis court to an outdoor swimming pool.
During lockdown, Beckham, who has been married to former Spice Girl Victoria for over 20 years, decided to take up a new hobby. He fell in love with beekeeping and built a £500 hive in the garden of their home.
Beckham's honey has since gained Royal recognition, with him gifting a jar of his homemade delight to King Charles during a ceremony celebrating British fashion in May.
Over the weekend, Victoria, 49, shared rare glimpses into their life at their Cotswolds home, posting photos of them spending time with family to her 30.9 million Instagram followers.
Victoria looked chic as ever, posing in a long black shirt and cardigan co-ord, white vest, and sandals, while David lovingly placed his arms around her.
The couple was joined by Victoria's parents Tony and Jackie Adams, her sister Louise and her partner, as they stood in front of the custom lake built on the property.
The Beckhams are known to enjoy spending regular weekends and holidays at the mansion with their nearest and dearest. They have a sauna and safari-style tent in place for guests to enjoy.
Footballing legend David is planning to spend even more time in the great outdoors at his property. The Mirror revealed that he has plans to create a new vegetable patch.
The former England skipper has reportedly submitted planning requests to install a new fancy greenhouse and kitchen garden at their listed nine-bedroom home in Oxfordshire.
According to the plans, the former England and Manchester United ace also wants to install a luxury 78 square-metre glasshouse to grow tomatoes.
The application, submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council, describes the proposed kitchen garden as being laid out in a formal style, with raised beds arranged in a symmetrical format around a central path.
"The glasshouse is traditional in style and faces south, overlooking the kitchen garden, framed by fruit trees," states the application.
