Easter eggs go on sale made out of cheese – which are ‘perfect for kids’ hunt’
A company is flogging Easter eggs that take the biscuit – they are made out of cheese.
The cracking alternative to chocolate eggs cost £10 each.
Produced by the brand Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, they come in two flavours – cheddar and blue cheese.

The firm says they are the ideal gift for cheese lovers – the “perfect surprise for your children’s Easter egg hunt” or Easter Sunday cheeseboard.
The Lancashire-based concern is also selling a special set featuring a 120g cheddar cheese egg, two packets of Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crispbread and a jar of sticky fig relish.
The website said: “We’ve made something truly egg-cellent, the combination of award winning Farmhouse British Cheese and an Easter egg.
“Delicious and versatile, this egg will make a sensational centrepiece for your cheeseboard, a gift for the cheese lover, or simply spread on a hot cross bun!”
It comes after news emerged Cadbury would be making a huge change to their Easter eggs this year.
Most eggs are reportedly getting smaller with a medium-sized Wispa Easter egg now 182.5g, down from 224g.
On top of the changes, the cost still remains at £3.
As for the larger Cadbury Flake egg, priced at £5, it now measures 231.8g, down from 249g.
Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers will be able to bag up to 40% off Easter eggs this month.
The likes of Cadbury Mini Eggs are reduced from £3 to £2, but only if you have a Clubcard.
