Elliot Page is feeling especially joyful these days.

The “Umbrella Academy” star shared a shirtless selfie Wednesday and explained why the warmer months used to be difficult for him prior to his gender transition.

“Dysphoria used to be especially rife in the summer,” he wrote on Instagram. “No layers, just a T-shirt – or layers and oh so sweaty – constantly looking down, readjusting my oversized T.

“It feels so f’ing good soaking in the sun now, I never thought I could experience this, the joy I feel in my body. I am so grateful for what gender affirming care has allowed me and I look forward to sharing more of my journey soon. #transjoy.”

Page, 36, came out as a trans man in December 2020.

“I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life,” he wrote in his social media announcement at the time. “I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self.”

The “Juno” star appeared on the cover of Time magazine three months later, revealing that he had undergone top surgery to remove breast tissue.

“It has completely transformed my life,” he said in the interview.

Page explained that the operation did not define being trans but provided him with freedom from the “total hell” that was puberty and allowed him to finally recognize himself when he looks in the mirror.

A month later, the Oscar nominee sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss his journey, saying it felt “crucial and important” to share his coming out story amid rising backlash toward the transgender community.

This is not the first time Page has shared a shirtless selfie online.

“Trans bb’s first swim trunks,” he captioned a May 2021 photo of himself wearing a bathing suit, adding the hashtags “#transjoy” and “#transisbeautiful.”

The actor, who was married to dancer Emma Portner before splitting in 2021, may not have much time to soak up the sun this summer, as he is about to embark on a book tour for his memoir, “Pageboy.”

“The memoir will delve into Page’s relationship with his body, his experiences as one of the most famous trans people in the world and will cover mental health, assault, love, relationships, sex and the cesspool that Hollywood can be,” a statement from the publisher promised.
