Former housekeeper urges hotel guests to always remove bed cushions
A former housekeeper has shared one travel tip that hotel guests should all be doing as soon as they check in.
The woman, who goes by the name "Ladydee" on TikTok, visited the Balearic Islands in Spain last week to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful beaches.
And she said there is one thing that she always follows when she walks into her hotel room.

Showing the trick to viewers, she walks to her bed and grabs the green and cream coloured cushions before throwing them onto the floor.
She then removes the green printed bed throw and leaves it on top of the cushion pile.
"Me as soon as I get to my hotel because I know damn well they don't wash these," Dee said.
"I used to be a housekeeper, hotels do not wash these."
The revelation stunned viewers, with one asking: "What do they wash then?"
Another wrote: "For real? I'm mad because mine always used to smell so clean and fresh and everything."
A third asked: "And then I put them on the floor or the couch so they can put it back on the bed next morning?!"
Dee shared her housekeeping experience and explained: "Nah, they would be spraying those items making people think it's fresh out the machine.
"They only wash the white bed sheets and the pillow cases."
One viewer said she never sleeps or uses any items in the hotel room.
"I will never sleep in those beds, I always bring my air bed and all the bedding and toilet tissue," she added.
A second has a similar trick as she wrote: "I bought a King size bed sheet for when I take trips and my own blanket, pillowcase and disinfectant wipes because they definitely do not wash everything."
