Here’s how Sun Bingo can help you to keep safe and play responsibly | The Sun
PLAYING with Sun Bingo should only ever be fun. So, if you’re finding that it’s starting to become something else, take a pause and breathe.
Monday 17th October to Sunday 23rd October is Safer Gambling Week.
This is a cross-industry initiative from the Betting and Gaming Council that aims to promote safer gambling in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
To mark Safer Gambling Week, Sun Bingo wanted to remind all of our players of the features on our site that are there to help you keep safe and play responsibly.
We’ve got a few suggestions about how to keep online gaming about having fun, rather than it becoming a concern.
The key is to stay in control of your money and time. We have a few functions that can help with that.
Monitor your gaming
You can keep an eye on your gaming history by clicking “My Account” and then “History”.
This space can help you to keep track of your gambling as you can see your games history.
WHICH GOGGLEBOX FAMILY IS YOUR FAVOURITE? HAVE YOUR SAY
This feature allows you to pick a timeframe and all of your stakes within that period will be shown.
Similarly, you can monitor your bingo habits under the “My Bingo History” subtab.
You can also check your deposit and withdrawal history.
Safer Gambling
This tab on Sun Bingo includes the subtabs: Smart Tips, Play Responsibly and Set Limits.
- Smart tips
This page has lots of tips and guidance about how to smartly and safely gamble on our site.
We have money tips, time tips, things to know (including why we verify funds sources) and handy tips (such as how to limit gambling ads on your social media).

- Play responsibly
The play responsibly page is full of helpful information about how you can stay safe while playing with Sun Bingo.
This includes top tips for safer, smarter gaming and links to external sites that offer specialist support.
If you are concerned about your gaming habits, there is a link to a test provided by GamCare that’s quick, easy, free and anonymous.
- Set limits
This page offers players the opportunity to take proactive steps to monitor and control their time and money when playing with Sun Bingo.
Deposit limits
Some players like to set deposit limits. You can set daily, weekly or monthly limits.

Reality check
The “Reality Check” feature is designed to remind you of the time that you have spent logged into your account.
You can set reminders for every 10, 30, 60 or 120 minutes.
Timeout
If you want to pause your online gaming completely, you might like to start by trying the “Timeout” feature, which allows you to take a break from your account at any time.
You can set the time out period from 24 hours to six weeks. Your account will automatically reactivate after the timeout has ended.
However, you should be aware that there is no option to reopen the account before the set period has expired.

Account self-exclusion
Similar to the timeout option, self-exclude allows you to deactivate your account for between six and 60 months.
Please be aware that if you select this option, the account cannot be reopened until the set period has expired.
