How do I tell my mum that my dad is cheating on her? | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: ALL the evidence suggests that my father is cheating on my mother.

I feel she should know, but it would destroy her and I don’t want to break her heart.

I’m a 22-year-old lad and still live at home with my mum, 50, and dad, 52.

Over the past few months, Dad has started popping out on errands at weird times.

He’s also been hiding his phone and taking calls in the garden.

Once, I even overheard him telling someone he couldn’t wait to see them. That seems pretty conclusive to me.

DEIDRE SAYS: You are in no way responsible for hurting your mum – your dad is.

She may feel something is wrong but not want to say anything.

The best thing you can do is talk to your dad and tell him what you suspect.

There could be a simple and innocent explanation for everything.

If not, ask him to be honest with her. They may be able to work things out.
