I made £1m flogging sexy pics – but it took 80 hours a week to get there

A woman managed to make over £1million by flogging racy content on OnlyFans – but she had to work harder than ever before to get there.

Candice Kloss became interested in creating saucy content when she discovered her pals were making thousands on the saucy adult site.

At first, she had no clue what the job really comprised of when she joined back in July 2020.

At first she took home between $2,000 to $3,000 (£1,600+) a month when she would simply share some pictures.

Then, after chatting to OnlyFans creators who earned nearly $500,000 (around £400,000) a month, she began to start adopting their sales tips, and business soon began to boom.

The model started to offer free trials and charged $5 to $10 for photos, $12 for pre-recorded videos, and $200 for personalised videos.

She'd also use $10,000 (£8,025) a month of her monthly wage to help promote her content on other creators' pages.

This is something that a lot of creators do to boost their profiles online.

Candice told Business Insider: "I try to be online pretty much all the time when I'm not sleeping."

Back in the early days Candice would work around 80 hours a week creating racy content.

At one point she would even share a different picture on her wall every hour.

She spent a lot of her time thinking of mini-games her subscribers could play such as colour-guessing games.

If anyone managed to figure out the answer she'd then send them a free cheeky photo.

Candice also has an Instagram account – but she said Reddit really helped people to find her OnlyFans platform.

This is because a lot of her content can be shared freely on the platform without the risk of it being reported or removed.

"On platforms like Reddit, those are the ones that get the most shares — pictures with, well, my butt," added Candice.

The model made her first $1 million (£802,510.00) on OnlyFans in June, which is less than two years after she joined the platform.

But, when it comes to what she shares, she often edits her pictures by using apps like Snow and Faceapp, which work to enhance her features.

She said: "It's not because I think I'm ugly. But it's because I've heard advice from some of the more cartoony-looking creators.

"Their income just increased so much when they started editing their pictures to appear more cartoony."

Once she hit the big number Candice decided to cut back her workload a bit, and she now only dedicates 60 hours a week to the job.

She said she made this decision mostly to try and aid her mental health, but she admitted she would eventually like to treat herself for all her hard work by snapping up a Tesla customized with pink racing stripes.

At the moment she won't splash the cash though, as she wants to use her income to boost her business and maintain her success.

She added: "I'm not trying to spend that much money on something that's not going to make me more."
