‘I quit job as nail technician to become a witch and now I make thousands’

A beautician who left her job doing hair and nails is now raking in £7k a month – as a full time witch.

Jessica Caldwell, 29, quit after a ‘’spiritual awakening’’ while scrolling through Instagram during a shift as a nail technician.

After purchasing witchcraft books online, she discovered her talent for reading tarot cards and ‘’fell in love with crystals’’.

Jessica, who now has over 5000 clients, now reads for a variety of people including, celebrities and friends.

The full-time witch, from Swansea, Wales, said: “I’ve always been a witch. I just never had the tools to utilise my power until now.

“Intuition is a powerful tool that I never realised I used in my daily life. Now I utilise it within my readings with complete strangers.

“I only work on Instagram and am earning three times more than I was before working in a salon.”

It comes after it was revealed Brits are becoming Wicker-Man style witches and shames to cope with the stresses of modern life.

Pagan festivals are selling out across the UK as climate change-fearing folk of all ages look to form closer connections to the Earth and explore the magical side of the planet.

While less than half the UK population identified as Christian in last year's census 74,000 declared they were pagan – up 17,000 on 2011.

Pagan author Dr Liz Williams, who owns an online witchcraft shop, said: "It is particularly emergent in times of crisis and extreme stress.

"Unfortunately, most of human history has been a time of crisis and extreme stress.''
