‘I was called Hagrid at school – now people can’t get enough of my glow up’

A woman said people would tell her she looked like Hagrid when she was at school – but now people can't get enough of her "glow up".

Liv Ralph, 25, told all about her weight loss journey on TikTok where she talked about her experiences of being bullied as a kid.

She said people were cruel to her due to her size throughout school and even called her “Hagrid”, while some lads would pretend to flirt with her "for a laugh".

But now the gorgeous blonde had the last giggle, as she looks incredible following a huge makeover.

Liv, who posts under the username @llivrallph, looks totally different now, and people can't get over what she looked like when she was younger.

Even though she's thrilled with her "glow up", she admitted there's a sad story behind her body transformation.

Liv, from the UK, said in the video: "Men now give me the time of day, listen to me and take me seriously.

"I’ll never forget how it feels to be the ‘fat and ugly friend’, I’ll spend the rest of my life avoiding that feeling.

"I am no longer viewed as just a laughing stock for people’s entertainment.

"Sadly, I am now led to believe that my worth is tied to how I look.

"I’ll never stop obsessing over my appearance, but my true ones love me all the same."

She started to undergo big changes back in 2018 and dropped more than 32kg.

Liv now uses her platform to expose the reality of undergoing huge physical changes online, and many people have been quick to share their thoughts.

Several of her videos have gone viral, and one has even been viewed more than 5million times.

One person commented: "Beautiful before and beautiful now.

"You look like such a fun person to be around, absolutely gorgeous."

Another added: "Change is good, it is challenging, I respect the hard work."

Meanwhile a third dubbed her transformation as the "best glow up ever".

Many people were left stunned by the big makeover, and some even asked if she was "faking it" because she looks totally different now.

People just can't get over that the pictures show the same person.

One said: "Does not even look like the same person.

"I refuse to believe it."

A second added: "Are you playing us? This can’t be real."
