Im a female electrician – men fall in love with me but Im just doing my job

A female electrician has left men love-struck after showing a glimpse of her life working as a “sparky”.

Stella Clark shared what it’s like working in a male-dominated industry as she got her hands dirty in her work gear.

The 19-year-old from New Zealand, filmed herself with her pink tool belt as she completed tasks at work, like sawing wood, drilling holes and sorting electrical wires.

The blonde-haired 'tradie' revealed that she is currently doing her first year of an electrical apprenticeship, which she started at the end of 2021.

Posting under the username @stellaclark53 she has gained more than 9,000 followers and 58.7k likes on TikTok documenting her work with the aim of encouraging more women and girls to join the industry.

In one clip, which has gained more than 14,400 likes, she said: "POV: You wake up every day to prove girls can do it too! Give it your all."

Stella declared that she “loves” her job and wants to encourage other women to get involved too before the self-dubbed “tradie lady” got ready for her working day.

She was seen putting on her Hi-Vis jacket and brushing her teeth, ready for a day on the tools.

But much to her surprise, men were flocking into her comment section, declaring their love for her as they said they would be distracted by her good looks if they worked with her.

One user said wrote: "And this is why I’d get no work done."

Another said: "I currently have an electrical problem."

A third man added: "I'm in love."

A fourth commented: "Nothing more sexier, yasssss queen."

Other users branded her as "attractive" and "sexy".

However, she was also praised by other TikTok users for being part of the trade.

One user said: "Good to see lady’s in the trade. Didn’t know any when I started my apprenticeship."

To which, Stella replied: "I really hope more get involved!!"

Another simply said they were "so impressed."
