A PSYCHOLOGIST has picked up on subtle tricks Love Islanders are using to appear more attractive.

It comes as the temperature heats up during Casa Amor, when contestants are tempted with potential new partners.

With couples split and new love interests on the horizon, the flirting is on.

Celebrity psychologist Dr Arthur Cassidy has noticed some tactics among both men and women in the Villa.

“They pout night after night, arch their backs and lean forward with their guys on the sofa bed.”

Davide ‘will ditch Ekin-Su’ in Casa Amor twist claims axed Love Island star

There’s no shortage of luscious lips among the women, with Ekin-Su previously having had fillers.

Whether they notice they are doing it or not, a subtle pout is a flirting technique bound to draw a male’s attention to the lips.

Dr Cassidy, working with Buzz Bingo, noted other strategies used by Ekin Su.

He said: “There was a definite sexual chemistry emanating from Davide, but Ekin-Su is a master of the art in flirting rituals as she has too many male options.

“With Davide, she shows a strong gaze sustained long enough to send him a message of interest and potential submission.”

Researchers at the University of Kansas have previously investigated if flirting has a clear facial expression.

The results were surprisingly tame – a certain posture and look was most recognised by men as being flirty.

“We found most men were able to recognize a certain female facial expression as representing flirting," said doctoral student in psychology Gillath Lab.

The “expression” was comprised of four components – a head tilt to one side, chin tipped downward, a slight smile and eye contact.
